Miley Cyrus Tattoos Love For Liam Hemsworth On Her Arm: Does Quirky Ink Prove Wedding Is On?

Miley Cyrus hasn’t outright said that she and Liam Hemsworth are engaged again, but she does keep dropping huge hints that she and the Independence Day: Resurgence star have decided that the wedding is back on.

One of these hints is something that isn’t as easy to remove as an engagement ring, which Miley Cyrus has been photographed rocking recently. According to Us Weekly, the “Wrecking Ball” singer decided to show Liam Hemsworth how much she loves him by getting something that her rumored fiancé loves tattooed on her arm. On Saturday, Los Angeles tattoo artist Doctor Woo showed off the ink inspired by one of Liam’s favorite foods.

As you can see, Miley Cyrus’ new tattoo is an homage to Vegemite, a food paste that is popular with Aussies. Australian native Liam Hemsworth has said that the yeasty brown spread is one of his favorite snacks, and he misses the salty treat whenever he’s in the States. Unfortunately for Liam, now the back of Miley’s left arm will make him long for his Vegemite even more. Miley’s tiny new tat is located next her inking of an avocado, which is often eaten with Vegemite on toast.

The jar of Vegemite isn’t Miley Cyrus’ only tattoo inspired by Liam Hemsworth. According to the Huffington Post, Miley and Liam both got quotes from a famous Theodore Roosevelt speech tattooed on their arms in 2012.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fell for each other while playing love interests in the movie The Last Song, and they originally got engaged in June 2012. The young lovers decided to call it quits in September 2013, but they stayed pals during their break. Their friendship blossomed into romance again late last year.

During a recent interview with News.com.au, Liam defended his decision to get engaged to Miley when he was only 22 years old. According to the actor, popping the question wasn’t something he did on a whim.

“I don’t think that was impulsive. That was a well thought-out idea,” Liam said.

He has certainly proved that his feelings for Miley Cyrus were more than an infatuation or puppy love by getting back with her more than two years after their split. And judging from Miley’s recent behavior, Liam Hemsworth’s proposal may eventually result in a wedding.

Miley Cyrus has not verbally confirmed that she and Liam Hemsworth have called their engagement back on, opting instead to let her accessories do the talking. As TMZ reports, she was photographed wearing her old engagement ring during a July 4 dinner date with Liam. Miley pointed to the paparazzi with her left hand as she and Liam walked inside the new Soho House in Malibu.

Miley Cyrus also let her back do the talking last month when snapped a mirror selfie. As you can see, she’s wearing a shirt emblazoned with Liam’s last name.

Last month, a source told Us Weekly that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are planning a summer beach wedding. This might be why Miley and Liam’s sister-in-law got matching tattoos back in April. According to Entertainment Tonight, Miley Cyrus and Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, got the same simple wave tattoo on their arms. Aussie tattoo artist Lauren Winzer did the inking, but pro surfer Kelly Slater designed the body art.

A source claims that Miley was scoping out potential wedding venues during the April trip to visit Liam’s family in Byron Bay, and she’ll need to find a place with a lot of space if she wants to make her dream wedding a reality; Miley reportedly wants to make her guests feel like kids again with a carnival-inspired ceremony.

“Miley’s mentioned she’s interested in having a bunch of bouncy houses,” a source revealed.

There’s no word on whether Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth plan to serve any Vegemite hors d’oeuvres during their reception.
