Bank Robbers Throw Cash Out Of Vehicle During High Speed Chase [Video]

Two bank robbers were arrested today in Southern California after leading police on a bizarre high speed chase through Los Angeles. The robbers littered the streets with money until they got stuck in traffic and were arrested.

The Huffington Post reports that the two men were throwing cash out their window as they led police around Southern California. Policer were eventually able to arrest the two men after their car was blocked by Los Angeles traffic.

Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Parker said that the chase started after a bank robbery in Santa Clarita Valley. Two men jumped out of the vehicle in San Fernando Valley while the other two took police down the freeway toward Los Angeles. The car then turned off of the highway and started speeding through small neighborhoods while throwing cash out onto the streets.

It’s unclear why the robbers decided to start dumping their cash on the streets. Did they realize that they were going to get caught? Or do you think this was a planned robin hood heist?

Here’s a video of the robbers throwing cash out onto the street.

What do you think? Is this a group of heroes standing up to the corrupt banking system? Or just a bunch of idiots getting caught for a stupid crime?
