Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Divorce Agreement Already In Place? How Much Of His Debt Will She Cover?

Has wedded bliss turned sour for Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West? Unidentified sources seem to think so. Divorce rumors are nothing new for the couple, who sealed a whirlwind romance with a baby in 2013 and a fairytale wedding in 2014. In fact, the couple has been plagued by divorce rumors for almost their entire two-year marriage. But judging by the most recent round of divorce rumors, Kimye may be closer to calling it quits than ever before.

According to Radar Online, Kanye West recently took a trip to Germany alone but cut his trip short. The rapper instead went to Brentwood, California, where he joined his wife, Kim Kardashian West, and their daughter, North West, on a play date. But the couple reportedly gave each other a wide berth during the play date because they have already started work on their divorce. Unidentified sources claim that tensions have been high for the seemingly happy couple for months. The tipping point seems to be the bedroom, or rather their lack of sparks in the bedroom. Both Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are reportedly at the end of their ropes with their troubled marriage, and divorce seems to be their only way out. But if you are expecting a long court battle as the couple divides their empire, prepare to be disappointed. Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are reportedly already deep into divorce negotiations.

How far has the couple’s divorce negotiations gone? Allegedly, Kimye have already worked out the custody agreement and financial arrangements. Kim Kardashian West will get custody of the couple’s children, 3-year-old North West, and 7-month-old Saint West. Kanye West will keep whatever money he brought to the marriage. There is no word on what will happen to income the couple earned during their marriage.

If true, the divorce agreement is a dream come true for Kim Kardashian West. According to Forbes, Kim Kardashian West earned an estimated $52.5 million in 2015, a figure which earned her a spot on the magazine’s The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities list. By contrast, after landing on the list in 2013 and 2014, Kanye West failed to make the list at all in 2015. California is a community property state. When a couple files their marriage license, they are considered one person by the state, and everything either person earned during the marriage has to be split evenly regardless of which partner earned it.

There are also other money concerns. Because California is a community property state, debts acquired by either partner during their marriage belong to both partners. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kanye West revealed in February, 2016, that he has amassed nearly Divor thanks to his failed business ventures. If either Kim Kardashian West or Kanye West decides to walk away from their two-year marriage, that debt belongs to both of them.

Erasing a mountain of her allegedly estranged husband’s debt to the tune of a year’s worth of her earnings can’t be an easy pill for Kim Kardashian West to swallow. Thankfully, she has another option. Kim and Kanye don’t seem to have signed a prenuptial agreement to prevent such an occurrence, but they can come to an agreement while they are still married.

It’s worth noting that the sheer frequency of divorce rumors surrounding Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West suggests that none of them are true. However, it is also worth noting that the Kardashian-Jenner women have a history of broken relationships and divorces. It’s possible that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are hammering out the details now so that neither of them suffers more than a broken heart later.
