Kristin Cavallari received harsh criticism from Instagram users who claimed Cavallari is “starving” her children. The Hills alum quickly fired back at haters in via her comment section.
“I understand you live a very strict dietary lifestyle but these children are very obviously nutritionally deficient.”
The drama started when Kristin posted several photos of her family having fun while on vacation. The photos were uploaded to Instagram on Monday, July 4. Kristin posted photos of her two sons, Camden, 3, and Jaxon, 2, hanging out on the beach with hubby, NFL quarterback, Jay Cutler.
“Even though we’re not in the states, were still celebrating,” the former reality star captioned the photo. “Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th! #MyGuys.”
“Wow. I want to like this picture but for obvious reasons I cant. Please look into feeding your babies.”
Instagram users found it hard to focus on the fourth of July beach family fun, they instead commented on Kristin’s two boys’ thin physiques, according to Us Weekly.
“I’m not hating but that little boys back does look really skinny. I have a kid and that just looks so skinny.”
“Seeing pictures of your boys and how they look is a bit shocking to see!” Many fans were shocked to see the bones protruding from the boy’s backs and made their voices heard. “I know you cook healthy but to see the bones just doesn’t seem normal, sorry!”
Cavallari decided to respond back with a sense of humor and blocked a ton of people in the process.
“Yep, I starve my children…Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha.”
You would think former reality star Kristin Cavallari would be used to being judged by the public. She most likely is, but Kristin isn’t happy when her parenting skills or her children are under fire. Cavallari also has a 7-month-old daughter named Saylor with husband, Jay Cutler.
Other fans expressed their support for the reality star and her husband, NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. Many fans said children come in all shapes and sizes and have different metabolisms. Commenters discussed weight, diet, and metabolisms, noting some kids eat nonstop and never gain a pound while others pack on the weight with little to no effort.
“All I see here is a hubby with a great a** and some SUPER cute kiddos! Haters will be haters… shake them off Kristin.”
Other photos from the beachside family vacation included snaps of Cavallari’s beach essentials and a celebratory Fourth of July post in which her husband and sons, Camden and Jaxon happily splash around in ankle deep water.
Kristin Cavallari’s Strict Dietary Lifestyle
“I’m a freak about what I put in my mouth…I’m constantly reading labels and I don’t eat any toxic chemicals, so I think that plays a huge role. I’m breast-feeding, which burns a ton of calories, and I can probably just thank my mama too, you know.”
That means no sugary cereals for breakfast. Instead, Kristin prepares oatmeal swirled with ground flaxseeds, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Cavallari includes overnight chia-oat cups topped with berries, chocolate chips, shaved coconut, and almonds.
Kristen has also been vocal about her thoughts on GMO foods and being a proud anti-vaccination mom.
“I’m not eating gluten free, but I try to avoid refined wheat products since they’ve been shown to spike blood sugar levels faster than some candy bars.”
According to Celebrity Health Fitness, Cavallari saw an unflattering photo of herself and slimmed down dramatically several years ago. This was during the time Kristin starred on the reality TV show The Hills in 2009.
