‘Scream’ Spoilers Season 2, Episode 7: ‘Let The Right One In’ [Video]

Scream has dealt fans yet another cliffhanger for the next episode on MTV. In Episode 7, titled “Let The Right One In,” the body count is expected to rise on Scream and the killer will be going to new depths to get his point across.

For those of you that have been following Scream Season 2 every week this summer, you know that there are a few angles that you might want to take a closer look at in order to figure out who the killer may be. One thing that is for certain is that the killer is a player on Scream that fans already know and have been associated with all season long.

There is one thing in particular in Episode 7 of Scream that is going to possibly rule two characters out as the killers, according to TV Guide. But before we get to deep into what’s to come, let’s just take a look at where we are right now. This is the part of the article where we need to warn you that there are spoilers coming up and if you have not seen the last episode of Scream, only read on if you want it to be spoiled for you.

Now if you are one those people who finds it hard to stomach certain grotesque(ish) scenes, then the last episode of Scream might not be your cup of tea. There has been a certain lack of a major body count on Scream and that may have been because the producers of the show wanted to make you feel safe for a certain episode to come. Granted, this scene on the last episode of Scream did not out-gore the Season 1 episode where Emma’s boyfriend was split in half, it did feature a scene that was somewhat of a “torture porn” moment, as described by Entertainment Weekly.

So in order to not put the cart before the horse, Scream fans last saw that everyone was dealing with Jake’s death in their own way. Some were taking it pretty hard, others were taking it in stride. But Brooke broke down, then lost her marbles.

In her mind, the new Scream killer was Branson, who she lured into a bed and then handcuffed him. Can anyone say Femme Fatale? Of course not, because sweet little Brooke would never do anything awful like that, right. Brooke was the kind of girl on Scream who would assassinate your character, not your actual living body. And surely she would not torture anyone, right?

Think again! Scream fans got to see the new side of Brooke, who is willing to do anything to get the answers she craves most, which include finding out who the killer is. That includes a slash on Branson’s face, seemingly to prove that she was serious about finding out what he had to do with the murder.

Of course, Branson did not give in to that and that was all it took to convince Brooke. Now the educated Scream fan will read more into that scene than most, considering the Scream franchise likes to take all suspicion off of their killer before he/she is revealed.

Then there was that shot of Noah foolishly getting tricked into a late night meet up by the killer. But Audrey came along and ruined his plans with a little surprise of her own, faking both of their kidnappings and leading the killer to both of them, plus Emma, plus Kieran. They ran for their lives, but the killer was more interested in going and finding Branson, who was still tied up in Brooke’s little rendezvous.

That is the part where Scream took fans back to the gore with a hand getting hacked off, then cauterized, leaving Branson alive but disfigured.

So in the next episode of Scream, Emma goes on a trip with Eli, but Brooke and Audrey, the two main suspects for fans, will get lured into a trap by the killer. But Scream fans should not be fooled into thinking they are both innocent at that point.
