‘Teen Mom 3’ Star Mackenzie McKee Shares Pregnancy Update

According to International Business Times, Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee and her husband, Josh McKee, are just one month away from welcoming their third child into the world. On Snapchat, this Teen Mom 3 star revealed they have finally decided on a name for their new bundle of joy. Inspired by her husband’s love for the rodeo, Mackenzie McKee has decided to name their son Broncs.

You won’t find Broncs and a meaning behind this unique baby boy name in any baby name database. According to Starcasm, it is a unique name is an ode to Josh’s love of the rodeo.

As Teen Mom 3 fans may remember, this is not the first time Mackenzie McKee and her husband, Josh McKee, made the decision to choose a non-traditional name for one of their children. In fact, the couple’s 4-year-old son is named Gannon, and the couple’s 2-year-old daughter is named Jaxie. Teen Mom 3 fans, however, can hold their breath on Mackenzie McKee and her husband, Josh McKee, adding any additional children to the family after baby Broncs McKee is born.

Just last month, after Mackenzie released a gender reveal video for Teen Mom 3 fans, she also said this baby would be her last baby. Mackenzie confirmed her decision not to have an any more children for a second time through a Fourth of July post. She captioned the post, “Happy Fourth from our growing family to yours.” She included the hashtags “#ihavebigbabies” and “#lastmckeetobemade.”

Mackenzie McKee has neither confirmed nor denied whether or not her diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes is the main reason why she has decided not to have any additional children. She did, however, speak out about how much of a struggle pregnancy can be with Type 1 diabetes during an interview with Starcasm.

According to Mackenzie, she had to keep a close eye on her blood sugar levels in order to keep her son safe.

“It affected my pregnancy a lot. Gannon was bigger than normal. I had to have an ultrasound three days a week to check up on his weight.”

The Teen Mom 3 star was also asked if she had any advice to give to other people who suffered from Type 1 diabetes and were wanting to try to get pregnant. According to Mackenzie, it is vital for women to prepare their body for the pregnancy if they are diabetic.

“If you are a Type 1 diabetic, I advise you to prepare for a baby,” she said.

“I don’t ever plan on having any more babies in the future, that’s how hard it was.”

Mackenzie has done a really good job of remaining positive throughout the course of her pregnancy with baby Broncs on social media. She did, however, reveal that she was having some extreme difficulties with the pregnancy due to her diabetes on her personal Facebook page back in June, according to Starcasm.

Teen Mom 3 fans can rejoice as Mackenzie appears to be doing spectacularly well as she heads into her final dash towards giving birth to baby Broncs. In addition to preparing for the new member of their family, Mackenzie and her husband also celebrated their third marriage anniversary together. Mackenzie commemorated the special day with the following message on Instagram.

“Today, me and this cowboy celebrate 3 years of marriage. Happy anniversary babe. You teach me something new about myself every day. You have shown me a lot of love, patience, and forgiveness in this marriage even on the days your not sure how to handle me. With lots of prayer we have made it through storms together. I love you @joshmckee28 I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in our future. 3 down, a life time to go.”
