Selena Gomez had a sizzling Fourth of July without BFF Taylor Swift by her side. The 23-year-old pop star decided to throw her own bash instead of attending her bestie’s festivities over in Rhode Island.
Selena Gomez decided to make things steamy for her Fourth of July celebrations. She hung out by the pool at her mansion and partied the weekend away with her closest friends and backup dancers. Girl group Bahari also joined Gomez in on the festivities. The trio act has been opening for the singer on her Revival Tour, according to the New York Daily News.

Apparently, things got a little flirty between Selena and one of the singers. Ruby Carr’s Snapchat video showed Selena dancing with the Bahari member. The clip shows the two girls dancing and having fun before sharing a quick peck on the lips. Interestingly enough, Selena also celebrated the patriotic holiday with a sing-along to Katy Perry’s 2010 single “Firework.”
Selena Gomez successfully hosted her own Fourth of July party without a hitch. She even took to Instagram to post a sexy video of herself walking into her own party set to the tune of Drake’s “For Free.” Gomez is seen wearing red, white, and blue booty shorts with a matching crop top. Then, Gomez turns around for the camera as she dives backwards into the pool. She captioned the clip, “hostess vibes.”
Fans have been wanting to know what Selena was wearing and how they get their hands on it. Her outfit is available at Urban Outfitters, according to Teen Vogue. The Retro Jogging Shorts cost $49 while the Retro Sport Cropped Top only costs $39, which is affordable enough to buy in time for Labor Day. The sports bra features red, white, and blue stripes with a striped multicolor hem and a log on the chest.
Gomez shared some other sexy photos from her Fourth of July bash. It wasn’t wild all of the time. She shared this quiet moment from the pool.
Then, the singer had the munchies, so she went on a late-night gas station run with one of her friends.
Gomez was noticeably absent from Taylor Swift’s seemingly tame Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island home. This year’s bash included appearances from her new boyfriend and Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Orange is the New Black’s Ruby Rose and Uzo Aduba, according to an E! News report.
Rumors of a feud between the famous best friends have been swirling again now that Swift has stepped out with her new boyfriend across the globe and recently attended Gomez’s concert in Nashville, where she was seen dancing and kissing the British actor.
However, Selena may have a good reason for missing out on her friend’s East Coast party. She’s currently on the road for her tour, and she has already performed her latest tour stop in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday, July 5. Then, she performed in San Diego on Wednesday before she heading out to Anaheim and Quebec City. Selena’s tour stops will also include Asia later this month and Australia in August.
Swift has been busy as well. She’s been seen taking off on a flight with Hiddleston. The couple have reportedly flown down to Australia together, where the actor is filming his new movie, Thor: Ragnarok.
Meanwhile, Selena has something else to celebrate. The most-followed celeb on Instagram has the most likes for her stunning Instagram photo from last week, which is from her ad campaign with Coca-Cola. It currently has 3.8 million likes, according to Yahoo News.
