James Taylor Leaks Major ‘Bachelorette’ Spoiler Then Charges Fans $36 To Meet Him

Bachelorette contestant James Taylor is one of six guys who have moved one step closer to winning JoJo Fletcher’s final rose. Although he spent much of his time bashing frontrunner Jordan Rodgers during the Episode 6 cocktail party, the 29-year-old Texas native was given a rose and is just one episode away from scoring a hometown date with JoJo.

However, a slip-up that played out on Twitter has all but ruined the show for viewers who don’t read spoilers. And for those who do, James’ sudden desire to jump on the fame train and charge ladies to meet him has Bachelorette fans wondering if anyone came on the show to find love with JoJo Fletcher.

Fans who have been rooting for James to go the distance this season were thrilled when JoJo decided to give him what Cosmopolitan calls a “pity rose” on the last episode, which allowed him to remain for another week and compete for a spot in the final four.

Pity rose or producer prompted, it was clear from the get-go that his awkward make-out sessions with JoJo were awkward in comparison to the hot and passionate moments she has shared with Luke Pell and Jordan Rodgers.

Reality Steve confirmed weeks ago that James was going to get the boot on Episode 7 and wouldn’t make it to hometowns, but James’ newfound love for fame ruined the outcome for fans who were hoping that the underdog would have a chance to score the final rose.

However, for fans who don’t read spoilers but do keep tabs on James Taylor on social media, the outcome of the show was spoiled by his inability to abide by the rules of ABC’s contract. In other words, James spoiled his own demise by getting caught on camera locking lips with a woman before the episode that features his elimination airs on July 11.

Twitter user Chris Riggins caught the kiss on camera and shared it with Bachelorette fans, something that didn’t go over too well with a few ladies who tweeted that they were upset to find out that James didn’t win the final rose.

According to Reality Steve, not only did James Taylor decide to “make out with a chick in front of a church,” he went one step further and tried to cash in on his new-found fame.

Last week, James reportedly got together with Bachelorette contestant Luke Pell last week to perform at a Nashville bar. Both James and Luke are trying to make a name for themselves in the world of country music, so what better way to get their names out there than perform for a crowd of screaming Bachelorette fans?

Although Reality Steve did not mention that there was a cover charge at the event, James and Luke were charging fans $36 each for a “meet-and-greet” before their show. No word on whether they split the proceeds 50-50 or if Luke got a bigger cut because he’s rumored to be the next Bachelor.

“Luke and James are playing a joint show tonight at a Honkey Tonk in Austin (I’m in Austin for work and decided to check it out) and are charging $36 per person for a “meet-n-greet” prior to the show. WTF. They’re also giving roses to all the meet-n-greet fans.”

James’ elimination may not come as a surprise to many fans who didn’t picture confident and strong-willed JoJo choosing mild-mannered and often insecure James as her husband-to-be. After all, James admitted on the Episode 6 group date (video below) that he doesn’t fit in with his co-stars, men he described as “perfect.”

However, the guys are over-the-top this season with their self-promotion on social media, something that, at least in James’ case, leads to spoilers that aren’t appreciated by fans who still think The Bachelorette is a real love story, not an overly produced reality TV show.

Watch The Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
