Pippa Middleton Continues To Rule As Wimbledon Style Icon, Kate Takes Fashion Cues From Stylish Sis

Pippa Middleton has lived much of the last few years in the shadow of her older sister, Kate, seeing as the mother of two married Prince William and is in the media spotlight for being such a stunner and a pleasing addition to the royal family. The Duchess does not disappoint with her selections of fashion, either.

However, Pippa is certainly the showstopper at this year’s Wimbledon tournament, since she has been spotted on several occasions wearing gorgeous designer dresses that are figure-flattering and a far cry from the traditional and demure recycled pieces her older sister has been donning.

Entertainment Tonight focuses on Pippa’s most recent trend-setting outfit that the 32-year-old showed up wearing.

“The Duchess of Cambridge’s 32-year-old sister continued her streak of flawless ensembles, stepping out for a tennis match in London on Monday in a blue-and-orange Tabitha Webb Edie dress with a funky retro pattern.”

The gorgeous number will soon be available to commoners, yet Pippa was able to score the dress from Webb due to her royal connections and status. The dress is available for pre-order and will only set buyers back $400.

Pippa was seated in the section allotted for royals alongside her 29-year-old brother, James. This time around, neither Kate nor mother, Carole, were present for the event. However, Vogue fashion royalty sat just in front of Pippa. The editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour, graced Wimbledon with her presence and is photographed along with Pippa in a number of the snaps from that day. It’s a sure fact that Wintour would give Pippa a 10 out of 10 for her choice of attire for the occasion.

Earlier in the week, Middleton wowed in another designer printed and form-fitting dress that was patterned with gorgeous florals and an off-the-shoulder neckline. The Daily Mail described the dress from day 1 of the popular tournament that costs $1,200.

“The British beauty arrived at the legendary tennis club today looking lovely in a pretty floral print dress by Suzannah, a favourite label of the Middleton sisters. We love the frilled neckline and ruffled dipped hem. It’s the ideal dress for a day at Wimbledon, the races or the Henley Regatta. The exact dress is only available to buy by appointment.”

Unfortunately, Pippa came very close to suffering a wardrobe malfunction and, therefore, the focus became the near-indecent exposure as opposed to the beautiful ensemble. Hollywood Life reminds of the close call Pippa had with the cameras while sitting in the royal box at Wimbledon.

“Kate Middleton’s younger sister looked absolutely stunning in a cream-colored, floral dress, but as she went to cross her legs, she showed off her entire thigh, and was just shy of revealing her whole crotch! But Pippa must’ve been unaware of what she was flaunting to the cameras: She had a huge, confident smile on her face the entire day.”

The day was far from ruined for Pippa as she continued to smile and enjoy the event despite the media frenzy. Although it has mainly been the younger of the Middleton sisters who has represented at the tournament, Pippa has been keeping quite a low profile lately since getting serious with her beau, Jason Matthews, 40. The two have been very fitness-focused and joined in on a number of races together which shows just how compatible the pair truly are.

When Kate Middleton has appeared at the tournament, she has looked lovely and donned recycled outfits from previous occasions. This time around, Pippa Middleton wins the best-dressed title out of the Middleton girls, hands down.
