Emily Blunt Reveals Post Baby Body, Names Second Daughter Also After Color

Emily Blunt just had a baby two weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean that she is cooped up at home! The 33-year-old actress revealed her marvelous post baby body this weekend, showing the world that she can still pull off the casual look very well.

“It’s only been a few short weeks since Emily Blunt gave birth to her and husband John Krasinski’s second child, but the actress is already stepping out in style,” reports In Style Magazine. “The new mom was spotted running errands in Los Angeles over the weekend, where she looked casual chic in a flowing dusty pink T-shirt and Citizens of Humanity raw hem skinny maternity jeans ($218; apeainapod.com).”

Her hair was also on point in “ombre locks” that showed just how much her trips to the salon before the baby delivery paid off. She has been frequenting “a hair salon in Beverly Hills,” making sure that she pampered herself before the baby came along.

Her husband was in charge of announcing their second daughter’s arrival in the world. Since Emily does not have any social media accounts, he announced that they welcome their second baby girl on his Twitter.

“What better way to celebrate the 4th… than to announce our 4th family member!!!” John tweeted. “2 weeks ago we met our beautiful daughter Violet #Happy4th.”

Seeing how they named their first baby girl Hazel, it looks like they have a thing for naming their daughter after colors!

Before the arrival of Violet, Emily Blunt made sure to clock in some quality time with her eldest daughter.

“Her youngest is about to become a big sister for the first time,” reports the Daily Mail. “Which is why Emily Blunt was making sure her two year-old Hazel was getting some special attention on Tuesday, as the duo spent dedicated time by themselves in Los Angeles. Emily, 33, is currently expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski and highlighted that fact with her protruding baby bump on show in horizontal stripes.”

John Krasinski has been a terrific husband by being present in family outing as well as picking up the slack when his wife got busy.

The English actress is about to get busy again as she gears up towards her upcoming movie project — with Lin-Manuel Miranda!

“Walt Disney Studios announced on Tuesday that Into the Woods star Emily Blunt would be taking over the part of the famous nanny in a sequel to the 1964 classic film, confirming the British actor’s long-heralded involvement,” reports the Guardian. “She was said to be the producers’ first choice. Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will also star as a new character, Jack, the street lamplighter.”

The Tony Award, Pulitzer, and MacArthur Award winner had only good things to say about his co-star.

“I’ve heard the songs and they’re amazing,” Hamilton creator said to E! Online. “It’s incredible so I’m proud to be a part of it. And could you imagine a better Mary Poppins than Emily Blunt? Are you kidding me? I’m just so thrilled to be in that room.”

When Emily Blunt gave birth to Hazel two years ago, she immediately hit the gym to prepare for her role in Edge of Tomorrow, which was an action movie starring Tom Cruise. While Mary Poppins won’t require a training regime that is as tough as that role, seeing how motivated the new mother is, she probably will jump on the treadmill to make sure that she gets back into fighting shape to tackle the new movie.
