Bethenny Frankel: ‘I Really Do Care About Carole. She’s Not Competitive Nor Jealous’

Bethenny Frankel knows that many of the women on The Real Housewives of New York are competitive and will step on you to get ahead. She’s experienced this first hand with Sonja Morgan, who launched a cheater brand of her Skinnygirl Cocktails as Morgan launched Tipsy Girl Prosecco. It’s no secret that Frankel has made millions from her business, and she may not have the closest friends when it comes to the ladies on the show. But Frankel does care about Carole Radziwill, who has experienced her own success with her two best-selling books.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now opening up about her friendship with Carole. In her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny reveals that her friendship with Radziwill is genuine because she doesn’t feel any hints of jealousy or competition from her friend.

“I really do care about Carole. She is a good friend, she is not competitive nor jealous, and I am grateful for her. I invite her to everything because she doesn’t make a jackass out of herself, she can talk to anyone and she is very observant. She can also be critical, so if something was off she might notice it. As fun as getting dressed up and wearing a wig is, that is just the window dressing. I am a detail person, obsessive, a perfectionist and a lot of work goes into those events. If any of my events or trips were a sh– show, heads would roll,” Bethenny Frankel explains in her blog, revealing that she appreciates Carole’s honesty when it comes to her life.

Of course, Radziwill has truly proved her friendship to Bethenny over the past couple of months, as Bethenny Frankel has gone through her medical scare. Frankel has revealed that she was struggling with the news that she was facing a surgery that could prevent her from having more children in the future. Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, and Carole were all huge support systems for Frankel, and they all came over to her apartment to show support after Bethenny decided not to go through with the surgery after all.

“For someone who is a ‘know it all,’ I am shooting in the dark with this medical information, and if a gypsy fortune teller told me what I wanted to hear, I’d listen to them. All I can hear is surgery postponed, and I can breathe again. As it turns out, I am a bit of a scaredy cat. Going under and the risk of never seeing my daughter again was enough to send me over the edge,” Bethenny Frankel also revealed in her blog, sharing that her health issue was truly something she was scared about and she freaked out when she heard that she had to have a living will.

But their friendship extends much further than just Frankel needing a support system during her health scare. Carole and Adam went with Bethenny and her new man on a vacation before The Real Housewives of New York started filming, and according to the Daily Mail, Carole has opened up to Bethenny Frankel about her relationship with Adam. While she once saw it as just something fun and exciting to do, she’s now seeing a future with Adam. The two have been together for over a year now, and they are already talking about moving in together. She has previously revealed that they are apartment shopping together.
