Selena Gomez Kisses Girlfriend, Secretly Wants Justin Bieber? Fans Flip!

Selena Gomez kissed a girl, and fans are flipping. The kiss with her girlfriend occurred when Gomez was giving her own Fourth of July party, reported E! News.

The video that caused fans to freak was posted on Ruby Carr’s Snapchat. Dancing and smiling, Selena kissed Ruby. Carr is a member of Bahari, an all-girls trio that has opened during Gomez’s Revival World Tour.

While Gomez was surrounded by (and kissing) her girl squad during her holiday party, the leader of a separate pack, Taylor Swift, was not present. Instead, Taylor was holding her own Fourth of July bash that featured her new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, and her pals including Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively, Uzo Aduba and Ruby Rose.

Fans responded to the vision of the 23-year-old singer kissing Ruby with comments ranging from shock to envy.

“I’m so jealous,” wrote one.

“I’m sure I want to be Selena’s friend,” admitted another.

“OU MY GOD [sic],” exclaimed a third.

And one summed up the feeling with a hashtag of “goals.”

Gomez performed in Phoenix just one day after the holiday. And despite the noticeable absence of Taylor at her party, Swift with her new boyfriend, Tom, in tow attended the singer’s Nashville concert in late June.

Additional Revival Tour concert dates include Los Angeles, Quebec City, Asia, and Australia.

Curious to learn more about Gomez’s gal pal Ruby who earned that envied kiss on the lips? At 19, Carr has been receiving praise for her musical talents in the girl band Bahari. The all-female group recently dropped their first single “Dancing on the Sun,” and Ruby has the role of keyboard player and vocalist, according to Hollywood Life.

The 23-year-old singer and Carr also are signed to the same record label, Interscope Records, which links them as well as the performances that Ruby’s group gave in providing an opening act during the Revival Tour.

Born in South Africa, Carr learned Swahili first, followed by English. Her parents were involved in wildlife conservation.

And Ruby doesn’t limit her talents. In addition to music, Carr worked as an actress beginning when she was only a child. At 8, Ruby had a role in Mom at Sixteen, and she also performed in The Tenth Circle and Jesse Stone: Thin Ice.

As for how Carr gets inspired for the songs that she pens? Ruby looks to her own life. revealing that “Dancing on the Sun” was crafted to encourage others to enjoy every moment.

“A lot of our influences behind that song were to try and spread our message and tell people to live in the moment and be the best that you can be.”

While fans are focused on that kiss Selena gave Carr, is Gomez secretly longing to rekindle her romance with her former boyfriend Justin Bieber? That’s what a source told In Touch Weekly, which reports that a series of events caused the 23-year-old singer to wish she could reunite with the Biebs.

The source claims that Gomez has “issues” with the “Sorry” singer’s reignited relationship with Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian, and that those feelings became even stronger after the tragic death of her friend, Voice alum Christina Grimmie.

Although Selena subsequently made the decision that she “loved Justin,” longing to try again, the insider revealed that he told her it was too late.

“He is quietly seeing Kourtney Kardashian again, [leaving Selena] enraged.”

The rekindled romance with Kourtney occurred over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to People.

Kardashian, 37, and the 22-year-old singing superstar met up at STORY Nightclub. At one point during the evening, he took her to the DJ booth with him.

“He went right down to her table and brought [Kourtney] up to a private table behind the DJ booth,” a source told People.

In April, another insider confirmed to People that Kardashian had been “hooking up on and off for a few months now” with the Biebs.

“They have hooked up a few times, including recently….Kourtney is great…she is older and hot. She isn’t clingy and has her own life…She is very easy going and just makes it fun for him to be around her.”
