While fans are focused on that kiss Selena gave Carr, is Gomez secretly longing to rekindle her romance with her former boyfriend Justin Bieber? That's what a source told In Touch Weekly, which reports that a series of events caused the 23-year-old singer to wish she could reunite with the Biebs.
The source claims that Gomez has "issues" with the "Sorry" singer's reignited relationship with Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian, and that those feelings became even stronger after the tragic death of her friend, Voice alum Christina Grimmie.
Although Selena subsequently made the decision that she "loved Justin," longing to try again, the insider revealed that he told her it was too late.
"He is quietly seeing Kourtney Kardashian again, [leaving Selena] enraged."
The rekindled romance with Kourtney occurred over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to People.
Kardashian, 37, and the 22-year-old singing superstar met up at STORY Nightclub. At one point during the evening, he took her to the DJ booth with him.
"He went right down to her table and brought [Kourtney] up to a private table behind the DJ booth," a source told People.
In April, another insider confirmed to People that Kardashian had been "hooking up on and off for a few months now" with the Biebs.
"They have hooked up a few times, including recently....Kourtney is great...she is older and hot. She isn't clingy and has her own life...She is very easy going and just makes it fun for him to be around her."
