ISIS Sex Slave Business Streamlined With Catalogs: Terror Group Advertising Women, Weapons On Chatting Apps And Internet

ISIS appears to be creating catalogs that advertise the underage girls and women the group has captured. The terror group has been making a detailed database of sex slaves to streamline the grotesque business and ensure that none of the women escape.

Islamic State seems to be in the process of creating a database to identify the sex slaves that are in their captivity. The terror group is trying hard to ensure the tortured souls do not escape their clutches and brutally assassinating smugglers who try to help the girls escape. The group is also ramping up its promotional activities that seek to sell the underage girls. Besides using social media platforms, ISIS also seems to be using instant messaging and chatting apps, reported Mashable. One of the ads of Telegram, a popular instant messaging app, contains this vile message.

“Virgin. Beautiful. 12 years old…. Her price has reached $12,500 and she will be sold soon.”

Though the majority of the ads are posted in Arabic, translations are easily obtained. Moreover, ISIS sees no problem dealing in US dollars, while condemning the Western lifestyle.

The messages are encrypted, but multiple activists pose as potential buyers to gain any information they can. Many Yazidi men have been frantically searching for their mothers, wives and daughters and routinely scour through text messaging and chatting apps, hoping to get a glimpse of their loved ones.

ISIS currently holds captive an estimated 3,000 women and girls. These sex slaves are regularly traded among the group members. Evidently, the group has ramped up the distribution and administration of birth control pills and pregnancy termination medication to ensure none of the women get pregnant, which by extension, means the female can continue to be abused, reported Fox News.

How is ISIS managing their sex slaves? The extremist group has begun registering every slave. Every aspect of the female is noted down and a head-shot is taken. Moreover, each woman is digitally tied to her “owner.” The entire database is available for any terrorist with a smartphone.

Moreover, ISIS has erected multiple checkpoints to control the flow of rations, ammunition, and along with it, women. In case a woman escapes, ISIS operatives at these checkpoints can easily check. Forces equipped with smartphones can find out the owner of the sex slave and confirm the same with a simple phone call.

Besides Telegram, which is favored by the ISIS, ads for women, tactical gear, and even weapons are regularly sent out on WhatsApp. The group appears relaxed about sharing such information because both the messaging platforms offer end-to-end encryption to protect users’ privacy. Though the messaging apps do try to weed out such accounts, ISIS operatives have learned to circumvent the digital checkpoints.

While the terror group gives out all the vital information about the sex slave being advertised, it usually withholds an image of the female until the buyer gets serious. Quite a few images show women being dolled up with excessive makeup. While the group doesn’t record videos, it posts multiple photos, which are accompanied by an offensive description.

ISIS predominately deals in sex slaves that belong to the Yazidi community. The Sunni extremists perceive the members of the Yazidi community as barely human. The ancient community borrows heavily from multiple faiths including Islam, Christianity, and Zoroastrianism. Before the ISIS began its reign of terror, the Yazidis had a population of about 500,000. However, since 2014, their numbers have plummeted drastically. Apparently, ISIS has no qualms about using the Yazidis to do all sorts of work, including using them as human shields.

As ISIS loses more territory, the terror group appears to be holding the sex slaves even tighter, reported Business Insider. The group has been known to deal in illegal organ trade to finance its terror activities.
