Bethenny Frankel Says Jason Hoppy Only Kept The Divorce Going For Money

Bethenny Frankel thought she had found the love of her life when she married Jason Hoppy a few years ago. But after being married for a few years and filming Bethenny Ever After for three seasons, Frankel decided to get divorced.

She filed for a separation from Jason, and within days, she had filed for divorce. Bethenny wanted out, and it was awkward for her to stay in their Tribeca apartment. She decided to move out, so she could continue to run her business without Jason staying up to date with what was happening. But he never moved out and remained in the apartment with spousal support for years.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that Jason is only being difficult in this divorce over money. Hoppy has never really talked publicly about his divorce from Bethenny, but one can imagine that he’s just trying to hurt her. While Frankel did cry about her divorce on the previous season of The Real Housewives of New York, she’s now realizing that he is just interested in getting her money.

“Something funny has just occurred to me. In a matter of moments, til I get divorced, I’ll be the only married NY housewife,” Bethenny Frankel revealed, joking about her lengthy divorce.

“I don’t know how you have coped with such a stressful and expensive divorce. He disappointed your fans hanging on for money,” one person wrote to Frankel on Twitter, to which Bethenny Frankel simply replied, “It’s only money. Love & my daughter are what matters.”

Last week, Frankel learned that Jason Hoppy had finally moved out of their old apartment. The apartment was the one thing keeping them legally married, and Bethenny just wanted to get out of the divorce. She’s been dating a few guys since filing for her divorce, and Jason has even been spotted with another woman in New York. They had both emotionally moved on, but neither of them could come to a settlement in regards to the $5 million apartment.

“I just wanted so badly for that to be over and to be able to sell it and just close that part of the chapter. The divorce isn’t over, but that part,” Bethenny Frankel revealed about her divorce on her radio show, according to Us Weekly, adding, “I walked in and it just washed over me. I sobbed for hours. It was like this release, and you always think things are going to be one way. I thought it was going to be, like, the biggest party ever. I’d be roller-skating through there with my top off, my tits hanging out, so excited — and there’s nothing good about any of it. It was all just remembering moving in there. It was a hideous experience, and I just didn’t know how to even process the feeling.”

Frankel could finally return to her home in Tribeca a few days ago. It was her dream apartment, a home she had completely designed on the third season of Bethenny Ever After. But when they got divorced, she spent a year living in hotels. She had finally found her own place, and she spent a few months renovating it. These days, she owns her own apartment in New York, an office for her employees, a Hamptons home and now her Tribeca apartment. Plus, Bethenny Frankel was spotted shopping for another home with her new boyfriend, Dennis Shields. One can imagine that Frankel wants to sell her Tribeca apartment so she can move on from her failed marriage.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s comment that her estranged husband was just out for the money? Do you think he’s being forced to move out because she’s no longer paying him spousal support?
