Celine Dion’s Husband: Singer Not Having Emotional Breakdown Over His Death Despite Claims

Although Celine Dion’s husband passed away several months ago, the pop star is not close to having an “emotional breakdown” despite a faulty tabloid report.

Earlier on Tuesday, Radar Online published a gallery of photos of a distraught-looking Celine Dion with the headline, “Grief Stricken Celine Dion Nearing ‘Emotional Breakdown’ After Husband Death,” according to a Gossip Cop. While the singer’s husband lost a battle to cancer earlier this year, Dion isn’t paralyzed from sadness despite the rumors. A nameless source told Radar Online that Celine Dion has been “on the verge of an emotional collapse.” The same source also said that the Canadian pop star often finds herself “in a flood of tears.”

The death of Celine Dion’s husband, Rene Angelil, continuously impacts the singer, according to Radar Online. The site wrote that Dion’s friends claim that she is “staggering behind the scenes.” Unnamed sources have also said that the singer has been “brought to her knees” from sadness and has looked “gaunt and weak.” Radar Online also stated that a “source from her inner circle” is hoping the singer will recover from the pain.

“Everyone is praying that she’ll be OK, but we’re all concerned.”

The death of Celine Dion’s husband has the singer “struggling to survive every day,” according to a “close family friend,” wrote Radar Online.

Shortly after these rumors were published, Gossip Cop quickly debunked such heinous lies. The website, which prides itself on “busting bad dish,” was able to confirm that the Celine Dion breakdown claims were false. One of the singer’s representative’s told Gossip Cop that these allegations surrounding Dion’s “emotional collapse” were “not true at all.” Gossip Cop also said Radar Online’s decision to publish these lies was “shameful” considering “all that the star has been through this year.”

Celine Dion’s husband may have passed away, but the star isn’t as distraught as Radar Online claims. Once Gossip Cop proved that these rumors about Dion’s fragile mental state were untrue, the website attacked Radar Online for their faulty reporting.

“Let Gossip Cop be perfectly clear: It’s highly unlikely any ‘close family friend’ or member of Dion’s ‘inner circle’ would be talking to Radar Online.”

Gossip Cop also pointed out that Dion looks anything but “weak and gaunt.” The pop star is clearly dazzling while at Paris Fashion Week, as seen below. Celine Dion has, in fact, been “vacationing and working for the last month” in Paris, according to Gossip Cop.

The rumors surrounding Celine Dion’s husband’s death aren’t her only source of stress. Last month, the National Enquirer fabricated a story claiming that she was dating young guitarist Kevin Girouard, according to Gossip Cop. The National Enquirer wrote that Kevin Girouard was “handpicked by her late husband” for Celine Dion. The tabloid went on to say that Angelil “managed every aspect of her career, including finding his own replacement for his beloved widow.”

Celine Dion’s husband may have liked Kevin Girouard, but these romance rumors aren’t true by any means. According to Gossip Cop, a source that has a close relationship with the singer said this rumor was “100 percent not true.” The source also told the website that Angelil wasn’t the person who initially hired Girouard. Celine Dion’s new manager “Aldo hired him.” Dion’s insider also added that the singer “only sees the band during shows, never during off time.”
