Alicia Vikander Overlaps Michael Fassbender Reunion With ‘Jason Bourne’ Premiere

Alicia Vikander may be able to overlap the Jason Bourne premiere with a chance to reunite with her boyfriend Michael Fassbender. She is in Sydney right now, celebrating the release of her big blockbuster movie with Matt Damon, so there is a big chance that she will get to see Michael Fassbender.

“Alicia Vikander proved she knew how to dress well as she lunched with friends in Sydney on Saturday,” reports the Daily Mail. “The 27-year-old actress worked a contrasting smart casual ensemble as she left the Three Blue Ducks restaurant in the Bronte neighbourhood.”

While the 39-year-old actor was not part of her crew, the fact that Alicia is in Sydney means that she is now closer to her hard-working boyfriend.

But her engagements with Jason Bourne premiere has kept her occupied for a good part of her time in Australia. She caught all the fashion magazine’s attention by appearing in a beautiful Rodarte dress on the red carpet, sadly sans Michael Fassbender.

“Swedish actress Alicia Vikander has become the poster girl for making experiments with modern fashion look effortless,” reports the Telegraph. “Whether she’s ladylike in Erdem florals or fierce in futuristic Louis Vuitton, Vikander makes every look her own with her personal brand of laidback insouciance.”

Michael is currently shooting his upcoming movie Aient Covenant in Sydney, which means that he may not be very available to hang out with his girlfriend. But the last time that she was in the same town, he made concerted efforts to be with her. They were seen bowling, going out for lunch, and working out by the beach.

“Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender appeared to be just as much in the honeymoon period as they enjoyed a workout session together on Friday at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia,” reports the Daily Mail. “The pair were joined by a trainer, who put them through their paces with an array of taxing exercises as they worked up a sweat in the sunshine.”

In fact, in the latest interview with Vogue Magazine, the Oscar winner was adamant about telling the world that she want him to have by her side.

When asked about the time that she sat next to Michael during this year’s award show, she gave a very direct answer.

“That wasn’t even a question,” she said to Vogue. “It felt like the right thing. We wanted to sit next to each other, simple as that. We wouldn’t have gone there and not sat together.”

While she seems ready to talk about her relationship, her boyfriend doesn’t seem to be in the same mindset.

“It has been reported that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s upcoming movie The Light Between Oceans is where their love ignited, but it’s not a good idea to ask the actor about that,” reports the Sydney Morning Herald. “The notoriously private Irish star shot down a question on that very notion despite talk being excitedly rife on the subject with the release of the movie’s official trailer this week.”

Whatever Michael Fassbender’s approach to navigating their relationship, Jason Bourne actress has used this kind of direct approach in her career as well, showing that hard work and good timing can do wonders for a young rising actress.

“You have the fear,” she said in the same interview. “Maybe that’s why I keep on working. Because it will stop one day.”

The 27-year-old Swede is working hard to snag all the enviable roles that Hollywood has to offer. The competition she currently faces is coming from Emma Stone.

“Though Sony is courting Alicia Vikander and Paramount is eyeing Emma Stone, the two studios require approval from the Christie estate before receiving a green light,” reports the Hollywood Reporter.
