Jamie Dornan Leaves ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Set To Promote ‘Anthropoid’

Jamie Dornan left Fifty Shades Darker set to promote his other film endeavors. The actor has been taking it easy the past few weeks, taking time off Fifty Shades filming to hang out with his wife Amelia Warner, as well as to support Anthropoid, The Siege of Jadotville, and 9th Life Of Louis Drax.

“Jamie Dornan took time out of his busy schedule to attend the 51st Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic on Friday,” reports Daily Mail. “The 34-year-old actor was there to present the world premiere of the highly anticipated war drama Anthropoid, which also stars Dad’s Army star Toby Jones.”

Since the story of Anthropoid is very important to Czech Republic, the 34-year-old actor made it a point to acknowledge that in the film festival.

“We realized what an important story this is to the Czech Republic and we felt a great deal of pressure to tell it in an appropriate way and honor the men and women involved,” he said according to Variety. “I really hope that we’ve done that. We’re very proud of the movie and I hope that we’ve done the country proud as well.”

His wife Amelia Warner was not with him on the red carpet of the film festival. She just gave birth to their second baby just three months ago so it make sense for her not travel as much as he does.

But with all the movies coming out once he is done with Fifty Shades Darker, she probably won’t be able to avoid traveling. After Anthropoid, there are a bunch of movies coming out starring the Irish actor, which means that Jamie and Amelia may be living out of a suitcase for the better part of this year.

Just a few weeks ago, Jamie Dornan tweeted about another upcoming movie called 9th Life Of Louis Drax, which showcases his bare torso in the trailer.

“50 Shades Of Grey star Jamie Dornan gives his army of female fans something to smile about when he strips off for racy sex scene in 9th Life Of Louis Drax teaser,” reports Daily Mail. “He plays a doctor who befriends the mother of a boy after he has a nasty fall, and it seems they become a little closer than perhaps acceptable given the steamy clip.”

Even though he has two baby girls, that has not stopped him from churning out movies. Not only does he have two Fifty Shades sequels in the works, but he also has been filming a Netflix movie.

“Jamie Dornan looks ready for action in our first peek at Netflix’s The Siege of Jadotville,” reports Metro. “The 50 Shades Of Grey actor co-stars with Jason O’Mara in the war drama. The Netflix Original film revolves around the siege of 150 UN Irish troops led by Commandant Pat Quinlan (Dornan) in the Congo in 1961.”

But whenever he can, he takes time off to hang out with his family, though he may be working on three movies at a time.

“He’s been busy shooting big screen bonkbuster Fifty Shades Darker,” reports Daily Mail. “But Jamie Dornan ensured he spent quality time with his wife Amelia Warner in the midst of his busy filming schedule in Vancouver, Canada, hitting the beach together for an outdoorsy date. The 34-year-old Northern Irish actor was spotted enjoying a leisurely bike ride along Coal Harbour Quay with his gorgeous partner.”

Knowing how Jamie Dornan has been working on Fifty Shades Darker for over three months, he is probably feeling like he could be done with it right about now.
