Newt Gingrich’s Prediction About Donald Trump And Hillary Clinton’s Campaigns Are Disturbingly Weird

Newt Gingrich was in Colorado at the Aspen Ideas Festival on Saturday where he told a crowd that Hillary Clinton spending money to go after Donald Trump has no meaning.

Various news sources have been following Newt Gingrich rumors saying that he has been formally vetted to be Donald Trump’s running mate, among other potential candidates.

“Everything the Clinton campaign is doing to suppress Trump will, in the short run, suppress Trump — because he’s not trying.

On Washington Week, the interest that Donald Trump has a running mate in Newt Gingrich was discussed and he was asked how he knew who to go after. He answered that he watches Fox News and clearly saw something he liked.

In his speech at the AIF, Newt Gingrich was even as direct as to make a bold and unexpected prediction.

“The thing she’s got to worry about is if he is still alive as a candidate on the first of October.”

For Gingrich being a supporter of Trump, it’s difficult to know from this whether he’s being very direct and somehow alluding to a threat to her campaign as if Clinton has something to worry about, and if there’s something he knows something that her campaign doesn’t. It could also be that he’s slamming Trump because he also said to NBC News that it’s Trump’s job to “stop screwing up.”

Newt Gingrich has held his own over time as a rather boisterous Trump-like figure as well and doesn’t shy away from saying things that many have found offensive or even saying things that make no sense and not caring how it lands.

But the former senator continued to slam Hillary Clinton for wasting her time with ads that try to define Trump because she can’t.

Clearly, this is a defense for the business mogul, but it’s also off the cuff because no one believes that they need to define him or that this is the point in her ads.

In one article by the Inquisitr, it’s reported that Donald Trump is not even trying to run against Clinton and won’t until after the Cleveland Convention.

Income inequality has been a rallying cry of the 2016 election, with more Americans turning fearful and angry about a shrinking middle class. At the festival, however, Gingrich continued to say that President Obama pushed out ads when was trying to define Mitt Romney in 2012 — in comparison to Hillary — and that it worked.

So this is very strange because normally when someone tries to use an example about failure, they should use one that shows it doesn’t work.

And so in this case, he showed that it did work, and that’s the reason she shouldn’t do it.

The headline for this report by NBC News is to quote Newt Gingrich in saying that Donald Trump isn’t trying yet and so one has to wonder if the reporter reported it wrong or if this is typical Newt?

Well, it’s actually typical Newt because he goes further to predict his play-by-play.

“Everything the Clinton campaign is doing to suppress Trump will, in the short run, suppress Trump — because he’s not trying. The thing she’s got to worry about is if he is still alive as a candidate on the first of October.”

Newt Gingrich’s image of trying to look strong is likely mistaken for being boldly dumb as he no longer has any prospects in the politics game, other than to make off-kilter and ridiculous remarks, and being a possible Vice President pick for Donald Trump’s dream campaign, where all Newt Gingrich has to do is not take anything seriously and continue his descent into absurdity.
