‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8: Heartbreaking End For Bonnie Due To Kat Graham’s Exit From ‘TVD’? [Spoilers]
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 will not premiere until later this year. However, fans are busy speculating on what will happen next. Many conversations revolve around Damon and Enzo’s predicament. However, there is another cast member TVD fans should be thinking about. A few months ago, Kat Graham announced she is leaving The CW series after Season 8. What does this mean for the character of Bonnie Bennett? One source believes that Bonnie will have a heartbreaking end to her story.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Bonnie Bennett may have more emotional trauma in The Vampire Diaries Season 8. She is a fan favorite, and many viewers don’t appreciate how much pain Kat Graham’s character is put through. However, she is one of the strongest women on the show and some have no doubt she will pull through just fine. That would be a nice thought, but everyone has their limits. Will Bonnie reach hers when TVD returns?
On the Season 7 finale of The Vampire Diaries, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) were affected by the creature inside the Vault. Nobody knows exactly who or what this monster is, but executive producer Julie Plec did give a few teasers. It is thousands of years old, has some scary looking hands with freakishly long fingers, and gets inside its victims’ heads. This is how it knew to use Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) to lure Damon deeper into the Vault. Not only did it know about the love between “Delena,” the creature knew how to mimic Elena’s voice with incredible accuracy.
The Vampire Diaries season finale also revealed that Bonnie not only lost her best friend and the love of her life, but her magic was gone, too. It seems like the writers of TVD hit Bonnie from all directions and all at once. This is one of the reasons why the Parent Herald believes that Kat Graham‘s character will have a heartbreaking end.
Previously, Julie Plec told TV Line that Bonnie will be paralyzed by everything that is going on. However, Kat Graham’s character is also full of determination and stubbornness. Even though she may be emotionally crippled at first, fans do believe that she will get past it. Bonnie may get desperate to save Damon and Enzo. In fact, there is a rumor that Bonnie will go off on her own to try to save Damon and Enzo, but will Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), Caroline Forbes (Candice King), and Alaric (Matt Davis) be able to stop her before she makes a deadly mistake?

TVD fans were surprised by Graham’s announcement that she was leaving The Vampire Diaries and so was Julie Plec. However, the executive producer plans to handle her exit in the best way possible.
“I feel like knowing that she is feeling ready to move on and say goodbye to Bonnie, now it’s my challenge and the writers challenge to do right by that,” Julie Plec told the Nerdist regarding Graham’s announcement. “We have a year to do it so I’m excited to come up with all the different ways that her character can say goodbye.”
Fans do not want to see Bonnie have a heartbreaking end on The Vampire Diaries. Hopefully, TVD viewers will see Kat Graham’s character end up with her happily ever after. After all she has been through, Bonnie (and Kat) deserves it.
