Andy Cohen On Siggy Flicker And Dolores Catania’s History With Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, And Caroline Manzo

Dolores Catania may be a new The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, but her relationships with two of the women who have been on the show the longest, as well as with a veteran of the show, aren’t new at all. In an Ask Andy web episode, posted on Friday, executive producer Andy Cohen revealed that Dolores has a long history with Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, and former housewife Caroline Manzo. During the web episode, Andy also talked about the addition of Siggy Flicker to the main Season 7 cast.

Andy said that what’s great about the addition of Dolores to the cast is that she has a real history with the existing cast members. Dolores has a long friendship with both Teresa and Jacqueline. Dolores also has history with Jacqueline’s sister-in-law Caroline.

“Well what’s great about the new New Jersey housewives is Dolores is a friend of Teresa’s for like 10, 15 years, and Jacqueline and Caroline, so she’s known all of them for a long time.”

Perhaps it was Jacqueline who introduced Dolores to Caroline or vice versa? Caroline starred on the show from Seasons 1 through 5 but left to appear in her own spin-off, Manzo’d with Children, that focuses on her family. As Caroline’s sister-in-law with a great relationship to her, Jacqueline frequently appeared on the spin-off’s first two seasons. In April 2016, Bravo announced that Manzo’d with Children was renewed for a third season. Perhaps viewers will see both Jacqueline and Dolores Catania make some appearances on the third season when it premieres?

While The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7’s other new main cast member, Siggy, doesn’t seem to have as much of a connection to Teresa Giudice, she does have a friendship with Jacqueline Laurita that began years ago. Andy Cohen said that Siggy has known Jacqueline for about three or four years.

“And Siggy Flicker’s great. I mean she’s, um, she’s a matchmaker and she’s known Jacqueline for about three years, maybe four years, and uh, she’s really funny and out there. She’s like a Jersey Jewish girl.”

The preview for Season 7 shows Teresa saying of Dolores, “Dolores and I, we’re cut from the same cloth. We’re true Italians. We’ll stick with you to the end.” Jacqueline says of Siggy, “Everyone needs a bit of Siggy.”

Unfortunately for Dolores and Siggy, they didn’t get to just have fun on their premiere season. The preview also shows Siggy and Dolores, during the group’s ski vacation in Vermont, witnessing a vicious argument between Jacqueline and Melissa Gorga over dinner. When Teresa sticks up for Melissa, Jacqueline yells that she’s a criminal before walking out. Later, Siggy and Dolores scream and yell to Teresa about having to deal with the drama between her and Jacqueline.

“Trust me when I f*****g tell you, I’ve had enough of it all! I don’t f*****g deal with this s**t,” Dolores screams while pounding her fists on the kitchen counter.

“I’m in Vermont wit a bunch of wackos, what the f**k,” cries Siggy.

The preview then shows Siggy and Dolores running and yelling for Jacqueline to come back.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jacqueline reportedly got so upset at Teresa and Melissa during the cast’s ski vacation in Vermont that she left the trip early.
