Just like in any other hot celebrity break-up, Calvin Harris has been bombarded by a rush of media rumors and speculations when his split with Taylor Swift became public.
The exes relationship were quite the talk of the town especially since Taylor Swift has been tagged with that "make an album out of my ex-boyfriend's story" type of gal. After her relationship with guys like John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Harry Styles, people are wondering who would bite for another Taylor Swift breakup song. Since 2015, that guy has been Calvin Harris.

But, when they broke up, the world seemed to be on that waiting line. Is Taylor Swift going to release a new star-studded music video? Will she write about Calvin Harris?
But, that did not seem to be the case. This time, it was Calvin Harris to took advantage of the buzz.
Two months ago, Calvin Harris has already released the audio clip of his newest single, "This Is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna, but it was not until 2 weeks ago when they released the full-length music video of the single. In just 2 weeks, the video has already garnered more than 100 million views (and counting). It seemed like a smash hit for Calvin Harris.
DJ Calvin Harris' fans were all ecstatic with his collaboration with Rihanna. The single is now dubbed as "TIWYCF." According to Billboard, the single has been on their No. 7 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 last June. With the rapid peak in YouTube and Spotify plays, it might be sometime soon when we see Calvin Harris dominating the top spot.
Just so everyone remembers, Calvin Harris is already a pretty big name in the music industry even before he dated Taylor Swift. The Scottish DJ debuted his first studio album back in 2007 and his albums have hit number one on the UK Albums Chart. He was even awarded a gold certification by the British Phonographic Industry within just two months of his 2009 album release.

Calvin Harris has also worked with Rihanna on her two big hits, "Where Have You Been" and "We Found Love." "We Found Love," co-written and co-produced by Harris, has also won a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.
Calvin Harris before Taylor Swift is more than just a decent DJ. Harris has been a namesake in Coachella over the past years.
After all these buzz with Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, DJ Calvin Harris seems to be doing pretty good, more than outstanding actually, after the breakup. He might even win another Grammy with Rihanna this year.
So, this might be the perfect time to forget Calvin Harris as Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend and treat him as the music genius that he is.
