‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe Announces Son’s Birth: What Is Sean And Catherine’s Baby Boy’s Name? See The Pics!

Sean Lowe and his wife Catherine Giudici Lowe welcomed their first child into the world on July 2. Less than 24 hours after announcing that Catherine was in labor, Sean revealed to his Twitter followers that Catherine delivered a “healthy baby boy” and thanked his fans for their prayers and support.

So, what did Sean and Catherine name their new bundle of joy, and what have the new parents revealed about their son so far? Here’s the latest scoop on the newest addition to the Bachelor family.

Sean proposed to Catherine at the final rose ceremony on the Bachelor Season 17 and, according to People, the couple married in January 2014 in a live television ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. In December 2015, Sean and Catherine announced on social media that Catherine was pregnant. Although they frequently shared photos of Catherine’s growing baby bump on social media during her pregnancy, they told fans that they did not know the sex of the baby.

On Saturday night, Sean tweeted the big news, along with the name of their new son — Samuel Thomas Lowe.

“God is good!” Sean tweeted. “We had a healthy baby boy named Samuel Thomas. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support.”

Moments after Sean proudly tweeted about his new son, his wife Catherine chimed in on Twitter and stated that she is now “in love with another boy” — her son, of course.

Bachelor fans were thrilled to hear the big news on Saturday with hundreds of well-wishers tweeting congratulations to Sean and Catherine. Although they haven’t revealed how much Samuel Thomas weighed at birth, the one thing fans are really want to see are photos of the newest little Lowe (see pics above and below of little Samuel Thomas!)

Now that Sean and Catherine’s little guy has arrived, fans still have the arrival of more Bachelor babies to look forward to. Bachelorette Season 6 star Ali Fedotowsky, who is engaged to Kevin Manno, tweeted that she is just days away from giving birth to the couple’s first child.

Who else is expecting within the Bachelor franchise? Over the next few months, expect to see baby announcements on social media from Bachelorette (Season 5) Jillian Harris and her boyfriend of four years, Justin Pasutto; Bachelorette Des Hartsock (Season 9) and her husband Chris Siegfried; Erica Rose (Bachelor season 9 and Bachelor Pad 2) and her boyfriend, Galen Gantry; and former Bachelorette suitor Chris Lambton (Season 6) and his wife Peyton, who recently told People magazine that they are expecting their first baby in November.

Before Sean and Catherine’s baby arrived, there were several other Bachelor and Bachelorette stars who have already given birth this year.

Us Weekly reports that Bachelor Jason Mesnick’s ex-fiancee Melissa Rycroft delivered her third child, a healthy baby boy, in May. Ashley Salter (Chris Soules’ season and Bachelor in Paradise 2) and her fiancé announced the birth of her son, Brooks Hartman Brannen in April. People revealed in March that Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas Stagliano welcomed her second child, Austin Michael, with her husband, Stephen.
