‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Double Crosses Ian, Victor Is Shot, And Nikki And Phyllis Are Kidnapped [Spoilers]

The Young and the Restless spoilers are full of fireworks, betrayal, and dirty deeds as the week of July 4 kicks off. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) get in a massive showdown, and Victor is left fighting for his life. Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) double cross Ian which forced him to overtake a security officer to escape. Ian kidnaps Nikki and heads to the Abbott Cabin, running into Phyllis. It sounds like an action-packed week ahead.

Soap Opera Digest reports that Chelsea and Adam double cross Ian, and try to ensure he isn’t able to escape. Part of Ian’s deal with Adam was he’d help him escape, but Chelsea wasn’t comfortable with that idea. In her mind, it was a recipe for a disaster because Adam could be charged with accessory to helping him escape.

“An entire escape plan has been outlined, and in that moment, as Ian Ward is leaving, he realizes he’s been double crossed. Adam Double-crossed him, with the help of his wife, and his one and only chance at freedom is to overtake a guard. “

Ian acts fast by snatching the guard’s gun, and grabbing Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as a hostage. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that at the moment, Ian points the gun at Victor and fires. Victor falls to the ground and looks to be seriously hurt. Ian escapes with Nikki in tow. She yells his name, but he doesn’t respond.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that for reasons no one knows yet, Ian heads to the Abbott cabin, and they find Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) — who is in deep thought thinking about her future with Billy (Jason Thompson), Soap Central reports. Billy had just left, and the happy couple had a passionate making-love session, and Phyllis obviously is still in the afterglow.

Billy had told Phyllis that he wants a real future with her. He intends to have a permanent relationship with her and urges her to come clean to Jack. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that in Phyllis’ mind, there is nothing permanent about her affair with Billy. She knows it would never work in the real world, mostly because over half her heart belongs to Jack Abbott (Peter Bregman).

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Phyllis tells Billy that she loves him too after he muttered the four-letter word to her just minutes before Ian and Nikki arrived at the cabin. She meant she really does love him, and just because Phyllis loves him doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Jack too. She feels completely conflicted and isn’t sure what to do next.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Ian arrives with Nikki. Phyllis lies and says that Jack will be back to the cabin soon — he’s grocery shopping. Of course, Ian knew that was a lie, as he saw him just minutes before at the courthouse at Adam’s trial.

Phyllis tries to get the upper hand, but it proves to be a difficult task. Ian is completely insane, and you cannot manipulate an insane person. Suddenly, Ian announces that he has to do something with Nikki — she’s a liability. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that he realizes that Victor will move mountains to find her, and then he could have someone kill him.
