‘Teen Mom’ Chelsea Houska Expecting Baby No 2? Her Dad Randy Dishes Wedding And Baby Details
Is Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska pregnant with her second child? Chelsea’s father, Randy, recently hinted that his daughter wants a child with her fiancé, Cole DeBoer.
According to OK Magazine, Randy dropped the news during his interview on the podcast Dentist, Implants, And Worms. He didn’t say whether or not Chelsea is currently pregnant, but he did reveal that she wants to start having kids as soon as possible.
“Uh, not now, but she will be getting married this Fall and I’m sure she’ll jump on that procedure pretty quick,” he explained.
The Teen Mom 2 stars are planning on exchanging vows at the beginning of October. They announced their engagement last year.
Chelsea already has one child with Adam Lind.
The reality star hasn’t kept her baby intentions a secret. In fact, she has been very open about her plans to have a kid with her new husband.
“Well obviously we want to get married first, but baby fever is very real,” she explained. “We definitely want to have kids.”
It isn’t known if Chelsea is already pregnant with her second baby or if she is waiting for the wedding. Either way, another baby is definitely in the cards.
“She’s ready to quit [Teen Mom 2],” he said. “I don’t think I’m supposed to say that. If the series ends, she’s fine with it.”
Teen Mom 2 just wrapped up its seventh season on the air. It isn’t known if the show will go on for another year or face cancellation. Although reports surfaced about a possible spin-off, Randy said that Chelsea isn’t interested in her own reality show.
“I believe she probably wouldn’t want to do that,” he replied after being asked if fans can expect a spin-off.
Apparently, Chelsea has wanted to leave the show for a while. The only reason why she stayed on board for so long is because of the money.
“She’s 24 and she has a house,” Randy continued. “That’s why she’s stuck with it. She’s doing well, and Aubree’s all set as far as college money.”
According to In Touch Weekly, MTV wants to film the ceremony and is willing to pay for everything to see that happen. However, Chelsea has declined their offers and wants to keep the ceremony a private affair.
“She doesn’t want it taped; she doesn’t want it on TV,” Randy explained. “She doesn’t need it paid for. I was very proud that she grew the balls to say no.”
However, fans will get to see plenty of pictures from the wedding and a few from the other festivities Chelsea has planned.
“They’ll go to the bachelorette party and stuff [to film], but for the wedding, she agreed that she’ll send a bunch of professional still photos [to them to use for the show],” he added.
Chelsea’s back and forth with producers created a lot of drama and might be one of the reasons why she is quitting the show.
