‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dr. Finn Gets News Regarding His Drugs, And Claudette Meets Maxie

General Hospital will be ringing in the Fourth of July this week. The previews shown for what is to come this month has fans incredibly excited. Two new characters are set to make their Port Charles debut, both having ties to relevant events happening on General Hospital. Several clues will be dropped regarding mysteries fans have been waiting to solve. This week things get intense just as the fireworks kick off.

Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is in rough shape while in the holding cell at the police station. Rachel (Rebecca Budig) was able to get his medication and inject him before it was too late, but that will only last for a short while. General Hospital fans have now realized that Finn is gravely ill and using medicine that is not yet approved by the FDA. According to We Love Soaps, Tracy (Jane Elliot) will soften towards Rachel now that she realizes she helped Finn. General Hospital fans are speculating that the writers may be gearing up to pair the doctor and former con-artist together romantically. They shared a touching moment on Friday’s episode, which alluded to a deeper connection to come.

Claudette (Bree Williamson) arrives in town under the name C.J. She is interviewing for a position at Crimson where Maxie (Kirsten Storms) takes a liking to her. Nathan (Ryan Paevey) becomes aware of Claudette’s presence when she shows up in his room. General Hospital spoilers have indicated she is there for revenge, and it is going to get complicated. As the week goes on, Nathan and Maxie begin to worry about her intentions for being in Port Charles. There is way more to the story than anyone knows, and Griffin’s (Matt Cohen) involvement is rumored to be revealed this week. He is set to talk to Maxie about something that is uncomfortable. Could he reveal that he was the man Nathan shot for sleeping with his wife all those years ago?

Investigations get underway at the hospital about the mysterious deaths. Finn is clearly not the one murdering patients, but who is? Everyone had another doctor pegged but when he is found on the floor by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), it changed everything. Franco (Roger Howarth) finds Elizabeth in the room attempting to save the doctor, which casts suspicion upon him. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) will offer Franco an alibi if he needs one. This puts General Hospital fans on the path of thinking Dr. Obrecht could be the one killing the patients in order to frame Finn because she is jealous of his pull in the hospital with the Quartermaines. Nathan will be questioning the hospital employees as the week goes on.

Things with Julian (William deVry) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) get even more complicated this week on General Hospital. Anna (Finola Hughes) mentioned Alexis’ safety last week, and she agreed that Julian may try and hurt her to save himself. He did attempt to attack her in the bathtub but was interrupted. It looks like Julian will become suspicious of her motives but Alexis is able to keep him at bay and happy for the time being. Nancy Lee Grahn promised General Hospital fans there is more to come with this storyline, so don’t expect any quick resolutions.

General Hospital will only be airing four original episodes this week due to the Fourth of July holiday. Fans will be able to see a repeat episode from May on Monday, but the new episode won’t air until Tuesday. Things are about to get intense on General Hospital during the upcoming week, and you won’t want to miss a single episode!
