‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Case Talks About Sully Baby Reveal, Sage’s Ghost, And A Possible Sharon And Adam Reunion

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease Sharon may get a happy ending in the Sully storyline, but will likely lose her husband, Dylan. Sharon Case sat down with Michael Fairman and shared that Sully’s reveal is approaching, details about Sage’s ghost, and a possible Sharon and Adam reunion. Sharon explains that she loves her character because she is always changing and seems to be knee-deep in drama, most of the time.

Sharon Case explained that, at first, she wasn’t sure of the direction that the Young and the Restless writers were going when they sent her to Fairview last year. As the storyline unraveled, Sharon realized it was a long storyline that would affect so many lives. She indicated that she first noticed where the storyline was headed when Sage died, knowing that Sully was her son, but Nick was left in the dark. Sharon realized that she knew the secret, but had a choice to make: tell Nick and Dylan or keep it to herself.

” I didn’t understand what was going on, originally. It didn’t dawn on me until months later. No one sits down with me and tells me anything, nor do I ask. I like to just see what happens, and be surprised. It made me realize that this is one large storyline, probably around January of this year.”

Case explains that Sharon’s problems started when she wasn’t truthful with Dylan about the miscarriage. If it wasn’t for that moment, Sharon and Dylan could have grieved for the child they lost and trying for another child. Instead, Sharon has a ticking time bomb waiting to go off and destroy the peaceful life she has worked so hard to build.

Sharon explains that her character often does stupid things in the name of love. She wants desperately to hold on to her man and takes it too far to keep her relationship intact.

“Sharon is not good at being honest with her man. There are people like that, and more out there than you think. Sometimes you see a character on a soap opera doing something wrong. The fans will then say, ‘She has got to stop that! She is doing something wrong.’ Like it’s unheard of?”

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon hasn’t quite decided to fess up about Sully’s baby secret. She knows purging that information would be great for her mental health, but it would lead to Sully being taken away from her, and that’s the last thing she wants to happen. Case explains that every time Sharon is ready to confess, she panics thinking about the fallout.

“Some days she talks to Mariah and feels she has to say the truth. But then she has always stopped from doing that, because she thinks: ‘How? How am I going to say the truth? What will be the fallout?’ She feels she must do it, and it’s got to be done, but then when she goes to do it she thinks that there is no way that she can.”

Part of Sharon’s anxiety is she knows what losing a child does to a family. The Young and the Restless viewers have watched her marriage to Nick crumble after Cassie died, and she doesn’t want that to happen to her marriage to Dylan. Sharon doesn’t want to lose Sully, because she’s the only mother he has ever known.

” Losing Cassie broke up her family before. Losing this child could do the same thing. What if Dylan reacted the same way as Nick and loses it, and it breaks up their marriage? “

Sharon Case revealed that it is possible the baby secret could lead to her character reuniting with Adam. They have been separated a long time, but many fans have wondered if it was possible to have a “Shadam” reunion. Case explains that she doesn’t know Justin Hartley well, and has only shared a handful of scenes with him. She welcomes a romance with Adam because she thinks he was the one who loved her flaws and all. Whether it will happen, it’s up to the Young and the Restless writers and producers.

“Sharon and Adam haven’t been together for a long time. I always thought they were a great couple. Maybe this would be the thing that brings them together.
