Kylie Jenner Accused Of Stealing Nail Art: Genius Kylie Lip Kit Advertising Or Copying A Fan?

Kylie Jenner used her Kylie Lip Kit packaging to inspire her latest nail art. Kylie’s signature black-and-white drip logo transformed her nails into a billboard. Now, a Kylie Jenner super fan claims Kylie copied her nail art. The fan created the exact same nail design two weeks ago. This is the second Instagram copy cat claim for Kylie. In 2015, Jenner was accused of copying a blogger’s entire Coachella look. “These are lit.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star declared after taking in her fresh, new coffin-shaped nails.

Since the launch of Kylie’s successful cosmetics business, the brand’s logo featuring dripped gloss and lips is seen everywhere. Was this simply a genius marketing ploy on Kylie’s part?

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star made her nail art decision during her infamous “husband” comment about Tyga. Kylie and her BFF Jordyn Woods made a late night stop at a nail salon, and when Kylie saw Egyptian-styled nails, she said, “This reminds of my husband.” Tyga is a big fan of all things Egyptian. He named his 3-year-old son King Cairo. Tyga’s store is called Last Kings, and is modeled after a Pharaoh’s temple. The “Rack City” rapper also spent $20,000 to buy an authentic Egyptian tomb for the boutique, in 2014, according to ET Online.

Kylie’s fan shows off her nail design on Instagram in the photo below. Did Kylie jack someone else’s nail design? It may be fair game since this fan’s Instagram account is mostly praising Kylie’s style and other products created by the KUWTK star.

Instagrammer Brit Day says Kylie jacked her look as well. Day saw pictures of Kylie’s Coachella outfit and posted a side-by-side comparison on Instagram.

The Instagram photo went viral and was picked up by major media outlets, but the 23-year-old Day told the Daily Mail that she didn’t mean for the post to be negative.

“I was totally flattered [when I saw Kylie’s outfit]. It’s awesome to know that my girl crush supposedly has a crush on me!…My post was in no way intended to be negative – it is sometimes easy for people to misinterpret what you’re trying to say over social media.”

Kim Kardashian Accused of Copying Serbian Pop Star’s Style

This is not the first time someone in the Kardashian clan has been accused of being an Instagram copy cat. Jelena Karleusa accused Kim Kardashian of stealing her style. Jelena Karleusa claims she invented the fierce image years ago. “I think that her stylists are inspired by my IG page,” the 36-year-old singer told Us Weekly.

Karleusa has been in the music industry for over 20 years and has 10 studio albums. W Magazine dubbed her the “Lady Gaga of Serbia” in 2013.

Jenner Releases Additional Info On Kylie Lip Kit Products

Kylie is working hard to get her products into the hands of customers and this time not just for 20 minutes. Jenner had this to say about her high-demand Lip Kit products, “I know it hasn’t always been the easiest thing to get my lip products, and you have been amazing and patient as I have been working to make more product for all my customers and fans.

“My dream is that you can buy my products when you want and it isn’t so hard. Over the last few months I have been working really hard with my team to expand and make enough … to try and keep my store open with product more often. I’m excited to tell you that I think we are getting much closer to that, and over the 4th of July weekend we are starting by adding more product than ever … so hopefully you can have a relaxed weekend and shop whenever it works for you.”

Kylie says her products may not be available all the time, but she reassures her fans that she wants her cosmetics to come out on a more consistent basis. Kylie hopes the product will be available for the Fourth of July weekend.

“Hopefully this is how it will be going forward,” she shared. “I can’t promise everything will always be available all the time, but it is our goal to make sure the store is open on a more consistent basis as we are making more product every single day and adding it to the website.”

By popular demand, Kylie says she will also release singles of her lip liner and matte lip color. “Because you have been asking, we will also be releasing singles of my lip liner and matte liquid lip color for the first time ever!!”

Kylie tells fans to keep a look out for new items this summer, “I have so many exciting things coming for you guys this summer and having more stock on my website more often is just the first step. Keep your eyes peeled.”
