Amber Rose Reaches Out To Iggy Azalea Following Her Split With Nick Young: ‘I Know What You’re Going Through’

If there’s one person who fully understands the amount of heartbreak that Iggy Azalea is currently feeling, it’s Amber Rose. The feminist icon and talk show host; who has dealt with not one, but two public breakups of once-highly publicized relationships with entertainers, lovingly reached out to the “Team” performer through Instagram Friday afternoon to send her well wishes following the end of Azalea’s relationship with basketball player Nick Young.

“My heart goes out to you,” Rose wrote alongside an image of Azalea on a couch. “I have been through heartbreak as well, so I know what [you’re] going through. Stay strong and keep [your] head up — my [fan base, the] Rosebuds and I support you and we think [you’re] amazing!”

“Not only are you beautiful,” Amber continued, “but [you’re] extremely talented, [too]! I remember watching [your] YouTube videos a few years back thinking, ‘wow, this girl is gonna be a star’ and you are! Let all the hate go in one ear and out the other.”

The hate Rose is referring to is the heavy amount of backlash the Australian hip-pop star has received this week for openly admitting the reason that her relationship and engagement to Young, a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, ended.

After several publications, such as the Inquisitr, reported that Iggy and Nick parted ways due to him impregnating a former girlfriend, the 26-year-old took to Twitter to announce that not only had she learned of the unborn baby through the media, but that she actually kicked Young to the curb after catching several women entering their home through a surveillance camera.

“This [baby news] is just like a second shot to the chest,” Azalea partially stated on Tuesday via Twitter. “I feel like I don’t even know who the hell I’ve been loving all of this time.”

Unlike Azalea, who came to prominence through her own talents, Rose’s come-up in entertainment was partially helped along by her relationships with Kanye West, whom she dated between 2008 and 2010, and rapper Wiz Khalifa, whom she married in 2013. The two would divorce just a year afterward, but they currently share joint custody of their son, 3-year-old Sebastian, and maintain a very close friendship with one another.

“Trust me, I deal with just as much hate if not more,” Rose explained in her post to Iggy, noting the amount of attention she still receives regarding her former relationships. “The great thing is, it’s the beginning of the summer and now, you can be a h*e,” she joked. “Date a bunch of hot guys, and give yourself some new cool options.”

However, even though Amber is all for Iggy moving on with her life, she couldn’t help but to touch on the thought that there might be hope for Nick and Iggy to reconcile one day.

“However,” she expressed, “[if you] seriously wanted to take Nick back [because] the love is there, f***ing do it,” Rose exclaimed. “F*** what the world [has got to] say! Muva is here for you either way, sweetheart, and so [are the] many other people that love you.”

Along with the strong show of support, Azalea has quite a bit of work to keep her mind occupied over the next few months. She is said to still be recording Digital Distortion, the follow-up to her 2014 debut album, The New Classic, and will soon be taking a spot as a judge on X-Factor Australia with fellow musicians Adam Lambert and Guy Sebastian.
