Mike Shouhed Says He And Jessica Parido Have Hung Out And Talked, Discusses Remarrying

Does Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed think that he and Jessica Parido will one day be back together? He isn’t ruling it out. In an interview with Bravo’s the Daily Dish posted on Tuesday, Mike talked about where things stand now with his ex and whether he thinks he will ever remarry.

Surprisingly, Mike revealed that he and Jessica have been in contact with one another since the end of their marriage. The person who initiated the contact: Jessica.

“Jessica and I have spoken. We’ve hung out. We’ve talked…There was a huge gap and we spent months where we didn’t talk. And then she reached out to me and we just started talking again, and it felt great.”

Yet, Mike admits that because of all the pain and hurt between the two, it’ll take quite some time before he and Jessica can become cordial with one another on a consistent basis.

“But there’s so much baggage. There’s so much hurt. There’s so much pain. There’s a lot of baggage we have to get through before we can even think about becoming cordial with each other on a consistent basis.”

Indeed, Jessica has made it clear that she doesn’t feel the need to be cordial with Mike all the time. Since Shahs of Sunset Season 5 has started airing, Jessica has frequently criticized her ex on social media for lying about her and their relationship. She has also criticized Mike for making himself out to be the victim when he’s the one who cheated on her. On Sunday’s episode, Mike was shown finally publicly admitting that he cheated on Jessica. As the Inquisitr reported, Jessica, after the latest episode aired, went on a Twitter rant against Mike. She called him out for being a person who doesn’t have any standards and who will have sex with anyone.

Despite Jessica Parido’s tweets about him, Mike Shouhed isn’t ruling out remarrying her. When asked if he and Jessica, who filed for divorce in November 2015, can ever reconcile, Mike said that’s a “huge question that has yet to be answered.

“I miss her. I care for her. I am very sorry for what I did,” he added.

Mike made it clear that he prefers to be back with Jessica. Yet, if a relationship with Jessica again is not possible, then he’s open to finding love, and getting married and having a family, with someone else.

“If me and Jessica decide not to work it out and we decide to move and [go] separate ways, I’m finally OK with myself. I’ve forgiven myself with what I’ve done where I feel like I deserve to be loved again and be in a relationship because my ultimate goal with Jessica was to be married and stay married and have a family. If it doesn’t happen with Jessica, I hope that one day I find someday who will love me and want to have a family with me.”

Jessica, however, seems to have ruled out being with Mike ever again. During her Twitter rant on Sunday, Jessica tweeted that she’ll one day give her all to a man who actually deserves her.

During his interview with the Daily Dish, Mike also talked about both his and Jessica’s post-separation dating lives. Mike said that he’s dating but not seriously.

“Am I dating? I go out on dates. But it’s hard again being an emotional person, I’m kind of sensitive. So it’s difficult for me to really get into that mindset. It’s unfair to bring someone into my life right now.”

As for Jessica, Mike confirmed that she is no longer dating the man she was spotted out with and confirmed as her “new man” in November 2015. Mike believes that Jessica’s short relationship with that man, Karlen Shubaralyan, was just a rebound in an attempt to get over him.

“I think that was just a rebound. I hurt her and she was looking for someone to give her attention and love and fill a void that she was feeling with me, but it’s done.”

On the Shahs of Sunset Season 4 reunion show, which took place right after Jessica Parido and Mike Shouhed’s marriage, Jessica stayed in her trailer after Mike said that he didn’t want her to join him on the couch due to his co-stars’ questioning and attacks. Will Jessica make an appearance on the Season 5 reunion show? It seems that Mike at least wants an opportunity to address his wife, if not on the reunion show then on another special. On Tuesday, Mike re-tweeted a viewer’s tweet that Andy Cohen should have both Jessica and Mike on a Watch What Happens Live special.
