Tom Hiddleston Steals Calvin Harris’ Girl — And His Job

Ever since it has been rumored that Tom Hiddleston wants to become the next James Bond, it seems like he’s doing everything in his power to get the role. He’s been making headlines with his revealing photo shoot for W magazine and his fast-paced romance with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift, 26, and Calvin Harris, 32, just confirmed their split on June 1 via social media. Since then, Swift has been spotted kissing and holding hands with Tom Hiddleston around the globe. It looks like Swift has since moved on from her 15-month relationship with Harris. Not only is Hiddleston stealing Harris’ girl, but he could be stealing the DJ’s former job as well, according to a new report in the Hamilton Spectator.

It’s been rumored that Tom is set to replace Calvin as the new face of the Emporio Armani underwear line. He’s already been approached by the brand to take over the spot last filled by DJ Calvin, after he was reportedly dropped by the label.

“Armani has Tom on its shortlist of potential replacements for Calvin alongside Joe Jonas, Chris Pine, and Liam Hemsworth.”

This will come as another blow to Harris after Hiddleston started dating his ex-girlfriend two weeks after their split. Harris, who was named the face of the Italian brand in 2014, reportedly came to a “mutual decision” to step down from the brand, reported the Mirror. Harris only wanted to appear a few times for the luxury brand’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign as well as their Autumn/Winter 2016/2016 campaigns.

“Calvin shocked the world by appearing in the raunchy ads and it certainly helped raise his profile. However it was clearly a one-off as Armani is looking for fresh talent. It’s a mutual decision … The original campaign benefited both parties.”

Emporio Armani has already confirmed the news to Britain’s the Sun, saying they have no future plans to work with the producer at the moment.

A spokesperson for the Italian fashion house said, “We currently have no campaigns planned with Calvin.”

It’s probably because Harris already has his own plans to launch a fashion line, which would be a conflict of interest.

An additional source added, “Calvin is looking to expand his brand by incorporation his own fashion line.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that Hiddleston wants to score the role of James Bond and become the next 007 by overhauling his entire diet and fitness regimen. The Night Manager star has been eating a low-carb and high-protein diet in order to bulk up for the role. Hiddleston is already battling it out with fellow actors Tom Hardy and Idris Elba who are also rumored to be interested in the role.

His new chiseled body has not gone unnoticed with the movie’s head honchos, according to The Sun.

“Hiddleston is already bulking up for the Bond role on a special diet. His new diet has been noticed by the bosses who now have him at the top of their list to replace Daniel.”

In his editorial shoot for W magazine, he spoke out about his bare bum being censored on the U.S. version of his AMC series. Now, Tom is talking about what it was like to film nude scenes for his latest film, High-Rise. On Friday, July 1, a commentary clip that surfaced and was translated by Celebuzz showed Tom and the film director talking about the scene in which he’s lying naked on a patio.

“He’s a great character,” Hiddleston is seen saying about his character. “There he is with no clothes on.”

Then, Ben Wheatley chimes and jokes, “This is it, this is my whole plan, to hang all of the marketing on Tom Hiddleston being naked. And it’s worked a treat!”

Hopefully, Taylor doesn’t mind that her new beau is getting naked so much. The singer is not known for stripping down in the buff, which is why she’s reportedly irate over her portrayal in Kanye West’s new music video “Famous.”
