Kylie Minogue Refutes Secret Wedding Rumors, Honored With Melbourne Exhibition

Kylie Minogue was one of the stylish celebrities present at the V&A inaugural summer party last week. The 48-year-old Australian star stole the spotlight on the red carpet by looking glamorous in a loose-fitting floor-length sunshine yellow gown. The Mirror reported that the golden girl in the billowing gown made an attempt to look taller by pairing her dress with high-heeled gold platform stilettos.

Kylie let her blonde hair flow over her shoulders as she walked gracefully in the halter-neck gown.

While Kylie Minogue is well-known for consistently looking stunning on the red carpet, she has proven that she can be just as fashionable when dressing for a relaxed daytime jaunt. The Daily Mail reported that Kylie wore a casual but chic white slogan T-shirt while stepping out for a brief shopping experience in Chelsea, London.

Her casual stylish look was completed by high-waisted black trousers and simple ballet flats, while a tan leather bag complimented her chic outfit beautifully. The pop sensation had her blonde hair tied up and wore a neutral makeup shade beneath her sunglasses. Kylie Minogue’s solo outing came at a time when she and her fiancé Joshua Sasse refuted the rumors that they secretly wed on the Greek island of Sifnos.

The rumors started when Joshua posted a romantic poem titled “To My Wife” on his Instagram page. The Sun reported that Joshua’s posting of William Ernest Henley’s two verse poem created quite a stir.

“Take, dear, my little sheaf of songs, For, old or new, All that is good in them belongs Only to you;
And, singing as when all was young, They will recall Those others, lived but left unsung – The best of all.”

Kylie and Joshua fell in love on the set of Galavant, the American comedy series featuring Joshua in the lead role. The “Cant Get You Out of My Head” singer confirmed their romance, and a few months later, the couple announced their engagement.

Apart from being affected by the rumors of Kylie Minogue’s marriage, Kylie’s adoring fans are also excited about the upcoming “Kylie on Stage” exhibition at the Arts Center Melbourne scheduled to be held in September 2016. The exhibition has been made possible by the huge donations by the singer over the years and will showcase some of the magical moments from Kylie’s famous concert tours. Fans will get to learn about various designers and collaborators who were responsible for the successful creation of Kylie’s live shows.

Additionally, the exhibition will also feature the “Spinning Around” singer’s dazzling stage costumes which have been drawn from the Arts Center Melbourne’s Performing Arts Collection. Some of the featured designers include Dolce & Gabbana, Kart Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Julien Macdonald, and Peter Morrissey.

The exhibition will be a fantastic opportunity for interested fans to know the creative process that goes on behind the scenes of a successful, high-budget show. The photographs, drawings, and footage will give fans a glimpse of the efforts that are being carried out behind the scenes of each of Kylie Minogue’s musical extravaganzas. The exhibition celebrates the success of a true fashion icon by highlighting her stagecraft and the creativity that goes into designing her costumes and orchestrating the stage shows.

The tours featured in the exhibition will range from the 1989 “Disco in Dreams” to 2015’s “Kylie Kiss Me Once.” The exhibition will proceed chronologically with themes that focus on the evolution of Kylie Minogue’s stage persona throughout the course of her career. According to the Weekly Review, Leo Stubbing, a radio presenter at JOY94.9, spoke about how thrilled he was about the exhibition.

“I think she’s a real inspiration, and what I love is that she is constantly changing her look and sound, and works with amazing collaborators. There’s pop music, and then there’s Kylie.”
