‘The 100’ Season 4: Things To Get Worse For Octavia? [Spoilers]

The 100 Season 3 finale ended with Clarke saving the day and Octavia finally getting revenge. What is in store for the Sky Crew when The CW series returns with Season 4 in 2017? It turns out that things may get worse for Octavia. Just how bad will it get for Bellamy’s sister?

Warning: The 100 Season 4 spoilers may be ahead.

Last season on The 100, Octavia discovered her brother, Bellamy, joined Pike’s anti-Grounder mission. Indra’s army, which was sent to protect Arkadia, was killed. If that were not enough, Pike executed Octavia’s boyfriend, Lincoln. Although Bellamy didn’t kill Lincoln, he was indirectly responsible.

Octavia wanted to kill Pike, but was advised to wait due to the situation with Alie. Once Clarke returned from the City of Light and Alie was no longer a threat, Octavia didn’t hesitate to kill Pike. Even though she got her revenge, will it be enough to dull the pain?

Some fans are concerned that Octavia may repeat Clarke’s storyline from last season. As viewers recall, Clarke went off on her own after the events at Mount Weather. However, Movie News Guide believes that Octavia and Clarke deal with situations differently. Since the two women have different personalities, that certainly makes sense. However, will Octavia heal, or will things just get worse for her?

When The 100 Season 4 premieres next year, there will be a new threat: a nuclear disaster. However, that may not be enough to distract Octavia. She will probably still be angry, and Marie Avgeropoulos has her own ideas on what should happen. In an interview with IGN, the actress hopes Octavia will go rogue and venture out on her own. This could mean that things will just get worse for Octavia Blake, as The Vine speculated.

Not only has Octavia lost the man she loved and went through so much trauma, there is also the issue of family betrayal. Bellamy and Octavia are siblings. He always vowed to protect her, even when she didn’t want him to. Bellamy is the only family she has left, and he committed the ultimate betrayal. In time, she will probably forgive Bellamy for his actions in Season 3 of The 100. However, their relationship will never be the same, despite the siblings being blood-related.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, expect a “darker” Octavia in The 100 Season 4. The actress teased that her character will be a double-edged sword. Expect Octavia to take a lot of twisted paths and make some “very interesting” choices. Do any of those choices have to do with the nuclear threat next season? TV Guide wrote that, if Avgeropoulos gets her wish, then Octavia won’t set aside her “personal vendettas to save the human race.”

As for the other characters in The 100, few details have been released. The script is still being written, but the actors have shared their thoughts. Isaiah Washington wonders how Jaha will get followers again. Even though Jaha really messed up last season, Washington believes he will have a following again. Eliza Taylor thinks it is best if Clarke doesn’t get romantically involved, at least for a while. That is understandable and the best decision. She just lost Lexa and is still grieving, and the Commander’s memory should be honored, not forgotten.

What do you think will happen with Octavia in The 100 Season 4? Do you have any predictions on Bellamy, Clarke, Jaha, and the rest of the characters? How will the Sky Crew deal with the nuclear threat? Will the Grounders know about it, and if so, how will they get involved?

Fans may have to wait a while to find out. There are reports that The 100 Season 4 won’t premiere until early 2017.
