Paris Hilton wants everyone to know that she made Kim Kardashian famous. She took credit for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s success by liking a funny meme on Instagram.
According to Us Weekly, Paris Hilton liked an Instagram meme that poked fun at Kanye West’s controversial “Famous” music video. It showed that the former Simple Life star made the rapper’s wife, Kim Kardashian, who she is today. It all started on Monday, June 27, when one of Hilton’s fans took to social media to share a still from the music video in which the starlet’s face is Photoshopped over Taylor Swift’s.
“I made his b**** ‘famous,'” the meme reads on the Photoshopped version, showing Hilton lying next to Kanye West and his wife.
The fan, who goes by the user handle “LittleHiltonBoy,” posted it on his Instagram page along with the caption, “Well …. This made me crack up! @parishilton you’re the best! Kanye before judging artists and celebrities, you should check out your home first! #parishilton. [SIC]”

The fan is calling out Kanye West for taking credit for Taylor Swift’s career. He’s also reminding his reality star wife that she was once Paris Hilton’s sidekick and close organizer. Long before Kim Kardashian achieved overnight success with a sex tape and reality show, she once worked for Hilton and even attended club appearances and red carpet events with the heiress for much of the mid-2000s.
Starting in 2008, Hilton slammed Kardashian, whose fame was rising due to her infamous sex tape with Ray J and her role on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Despite their feud, Hilton did give some kind words to Kardashian in an April, 2015, but still hinted that she helped give the starlet a platform.
“We’ve known each other since we were little girls. We’ve always been friends. It’s so nice to inspire people. I’m really proud of her and what she’s done.”
Meanwhile, Hilton’s net worth is on the rise. She just released her 20th fragrance, called “Gold Rush Paris Hilton.” Like Kardashian, Hilton made a name for herself with a reality show, but has backed out of the public eye and expanded her empire with perfumes, handbags, and a fashion line. When Hilton was asked on Good Day LA about all the scrutiny she’s received over the years, she says that she’s used to it since it comes with the territory of being famous.
“It’s been a part of my life for so long that it’s just become normal, but when it first started happening as a teenager who moved to New York, it was just crazy for me.”
Hilton added that she relies on both her family and her “incredible mentors” to get her through. They also helped her become the business woman that she is today. Contrary to popular belief, Hilton revealed that she’s worked almost all of her life.
“As a teenager I started developing my brand,” she admitted.
It’s true. According to iNews, Hilton started working as a model when she was just 19. Now, she has 16 years of experience under her belt in the entertainment and fashion industry. Shortly after her modeling career took off, she began to appear at nightclubs and on other forms of media.
Hilton is currently working as a DJ and will start her fourth year residency at Amnesia Ibiza this coming summer. She is incredibly blessed to have a lifestyle that allows her to party and work at the same time.
“Life has been amazing. I’ve never been happier,” she gushed on the talk show.
It looks like Hilton’s net worth is on the rise. An Earn the Necklace report from March 6, 2016, revealed that Hilton’s net worth has surpassed $100 million. She continues to profit from various gigs, products, endorsement deals, and her branding. Hilton’s reported rate for DJing is said to be around $350,000. In addition, she makes $25,000 to $100,000 for each nightclub appearance she makes.
Hilton’s net worth is said to be on the rise with the release of her new fragrance and her second studio album. According to an Instagram photo, Hilton shared that she’s finally working on a new album. She released the house track, “Crazy,” back in January of this year.
