Kim Kardashian Divorce: Couple Reportedly Irons Out Divorce Agreement Where Kim Gets The Kids, Kanye Gets The Money
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly preparing for their divorce, with a report claiming that the couple has already ironed out details of their potential split, including who gets the kids and who keeps the lion’s share of their assets.
Kim has long been plagued by divorce rumors, but the reports always indicated that the couple was fighting and appeared to be on track for a split. Radar Online now reports that they are already making solid plans how to divide up their collective fortune.
The report claimed that the divorce stemmed from the growing distrust between Kim Kardashian and her husband, which led Kim to iron out what was known as a “mid-nuptial agreement.”
“They’ve figured out a mid-nuptial agreement, where Kim gets primary custody of the kids and Kanye holds onto most of his cash,” a source told the outlet.
The source added that there doesn’t appear to be a lot of tension between Kim and her husband, which helped them come to some of the important agreements.
“They’re both adult enough to realize that divorce is always a possibility and to their credit they wanted to figure out arrangements ahead of time,” the source noted.
The source noted that the legal agreement doesn’t necessarily mean that Kim Kardashian is getting divorced anytime soon, but that they don’t want to make these decisions when they’re angry and torn apart.
“They don’t want to have to make any life-altering decisions when they’re super-emotional and not thinking clearly if they split,” added the insider. “It’s unconventional, but it’s actually helped them communicate now this burden’s been lifted.”
It’s not clear how much truth there could be to the Kim Kardashian divorce rumors. The couple has faced reports of an impending split dating back to even before their wedding. A series of reports have claimed that Kim Kardashian has grown tired of Kanye’s unhinged rants and that he is put off by his wife’s love of the limelight, even for their young children.
A February report from In Touch Weekly claimed that Kim had her mind set on divorce after a blowout fight the couple had in New York City. A source claimed that Kanye blew up at staffers of the city’s swanky Waldorf Astoria hotel, screaming, “I am Kanye West and my wife is Kim f**king Kardashian.”
Celeb Dirty Laundry predicted that the impending split would put West in trouble, with a high likelihood that a judge would not award him custody of the couple’s children.
“What has been interesting about Kanye’s West’s latest downward spiral is that the rapper’s entire breakdown has been pristinely documented across the internet – we have screenshots of his insane Twitter rampages, and there is even the tape of Kanye screaming obscenities and making NO sense behind the scenes at Saturday Night Life.
“Not to mention police reports from previous violent altercations in the past few years. Basically, Kanye doesn’t stand a chance at getting custody of North and Saint West. We’re not saying Kim is a good mom, but she is definitely a better looking parent on paper than Kanye West.”
But if there is any truth to the rumors of a split, then Kim is working hard to keep it all under wraps.
The reality television star has given all indications of a healthy marriage, including public appearances with her husband, a sweet note to him on Father’s Day, and a touching message on Kanye’s birthday. If Kim Kardashian is going to divorce Kanye West, it would certainly be a surprise to many.
