‘Teen Mom’ Star Matt Baier Labeled A ‘Scumbag’ And An ‘Evil Man’ By His Own Child

Matt Baier may be Amber Portwood’s future husband, but he was also a man who popped up on Teen Mom rather suddenly. Amber had just become single and was learning to live life again after spending a few years behind bars when Matt popped up on her social media feed. It didn’t take long for these two former addicts to bond, and he quickly moved to Indiana to live with her. Apparently, he hadn’t been too honest with the Teen Mom crew, as Amber’s ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley quickly discovered that Matt had many children who he wasn’t paying child support for.

According to a new Radar Online report, Matt Baier hasn’t really spoken out about the entire child support issue, but he does admit to having children from a previous relationship. Amber had only heard of two children, but reports suggested that he had upwards of nine children he wasn’t taking care of. And now, one of his sons, 26-year-old Chris, is speaking out about how much he dislikes his father, Matt Baier. In the interview Chris did with Radar Online, he calls Baier a “scumbag” and an “evil, evil man.”

“I had no father figure in my life. I hate that man, for everything he is and isn’t,” Matt Baier’s son reveals about him, sharing that Matt had gotten his mother, Sarah, pregnant shortly after their wedding in North Dakota and had left her without a dime just a short time later.

Over the years, Matt Baier never paid child support and left Sarah completely alone to take care of everything. Baier hasn’t paid anything in years, and Sarah Baier was left to take care of her son and work. Chris, now an adult, wants people to know that Matt Baier completely abandoned them, and Matt owes his mother thousands of dollars.

“We owes us thousands and thousands of dollars, for 18 years of support,” Chris claims, sharing. “We struggled like dogs with money when I was growing up.”

Sadly, Sarah and Chris’ case is just one of many when it comes to Matt Baier and child support. According to Radar Online, Sarah is just one of five mothers who have sued him for child support that spans over many years. Two cases have been dismissed, but the remaining mothers are hoping for financial support. But for Matt Baier’s son Chris, it really came down to wanting a father in his life.

“I wanted a father, needed a father. I begged him to be my father the few times I talked to him on the phone,” Chris recalls, adding, “It was always a big fat nothing with him.”

As it turns out, Matt Baier’s son is calling him out for lying. He has been watching his father on Teen Mom, and he reveals that Matt’s story about being a drug addict isn’t true. He believes that Matt told Amber that story to gain her trust. And his son believes that Matt Baier used his own son’s struggles to make his story seem even more real.

“He asked me to tell him all about my problems with drugs. When I saw him on MTV, he was talking about all of my drug problems that I told him about, and made believe they were his problems,” Baier’s son explains, adding, “The truth of the matter is, he’s an evil, evil man, and when he did evil things, he was stone cold sober.”

Matt Baier and Amber Portwood haven’t said anything in regards to this story, but one can imagine Amber won’t be happy with Baier if this turns out to be true. When she learned about his many children and the custody issues, she said she couldn’t be with him because he was a deadbeat dad. She remains with him today, so it is possible that Matt Baier has told her another story about his past.
