‘RHONY’ Star Jules Wainstein Divorce — Bethenny Frankel Reveals What The Housewives Knew About The Shocking Split

Jules Wainstein’s divorce with Michael shocked many Real Housewives of New York fans.

While some of Wainstein’s co-stars were also surprised by the news, Bravo is reporting that Bethenny Frankel knew all along.

“I was told before they came on the show that it was happening,” Frankel admitted during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

Apparently, Frankel knew that something was wrong after a few visits with Wainstein and her husband.

“I think so. I mean, yes. Yes, I did,” Frankel told Cohen. “They came over to my house a couple of times and I kind of talked to them a little bit, but it wasn’t on the show.”

Frankel has plenty of experience in the divorce process. Frankel separated from her husband, Jason Hoppy, a few years ago and is still finalizing the divorce agreement.

Frankel’s advice for Wainstein is to complete the divorce quickly and not let it drag on.

“I texted her and said to get out. Not meaning with Michael. I like Michael. I meant, like, just get it over with if you possibly can because the minutia doesn’t matter, but it’s really not my business,” Frankel explained. “It was just sort of a text just to acknowledge I knew what it was going on.”

Frankel went on to express the hope that her own divorce will be over soon.

Meanwhile, Enstarz reports that Wainstein’s time on RHONY might be short-lived.

Although Wainstein’s drama with the divorce is generating news, her time on the show has been fairly uneventful. Because of Wainstein’s lack of connection with fans, producers might not ask her to return for another season.

“Bravo isn’t asking Jules back,” an insider explained to Us Weekly. “She isn’t resonating with viewers.”

Whether or not Jules Wainstein returns next season is still up in the air. In the meantime, her divorce proves just how hard life as a reality star can be.

According to Romper, Wainstein decided to end her marriage because of infidelity.

Wainstein and Michael were married for eight years and had two kids together: Jagger, 5, and Rio, 2.

Wainstein’s divorce is not related to her time on RHONY. Although her marriage was highlighted on the show, a rep explained that the reality show did not contribute to the split. Instead, Wainstein and her husband “had issues for a while.”

Luann de Lesseps is engaged, while all of the other women are in relationships. This includes Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley.

The fact that Wainstein was thought to have a healthy marriage was one reason why producers brought her on the show. Along with Wainstein’s youthful appearance and upbeat attitude, her marriage offered some stability this season.

After all, husbands have always been a part of the Real Housewives and offer their own set of drama to look forward to.

Unfortunately, now that Wainstein is a single woman, the show might seek out another married couple to replace her.

Of course, the network has yet to announce their intentions for Wainstein. With the current season of RHONY starting to wind down, fans probably won’t know for sure until after this season wraps up.

At the same time, it is unclear if Wainstein wants to return to the show next year. There is a strong possibility that she’ll want some time to herself while her divorce gets settled in court.

Either way, the drama surrounding Wainstein isn’t likely to end anytime soon.

Fans can watch new episodes of The Real Housewives New York Wednesday nights on Bravo.
