Huge ‘Nashville’ Spoilers For Season 5 Straight From The Creator

Everyone is really excited to hear the big news that Nashville is coming back for Season 5 on CMT. Now, there are new spoilers out for Season 5 of Nashville straight from the creator. CMT shared spoilers about what Nashville creator and Oscar winner Callie Khouri had to say that fans can expect from the upcoming season of the show. This will be a great new season.

Nashville was originally canceled by ABC, but then CMT decided that they wanted to give the show a try. CMT picked up Nashville and decided to give it at least one more season. Callie Khouri is talking about Nashville, but she isn’t giving out all of the secrets either.

She was asked if Juliette Barnes survived, and she said, “Yes, she does. I’m not going to tell you! I’m not telling you anything. You’ll have to wait and see.”

Fans can’t wait to see if Juliette survives, but she has not been talked about as someone leaving Nashville, so the odds are looking pretty good.

Khouri also went on to share that she is really excited about Nashville Season 5 being on CMT. The writers have the same vision for Nashville as she does.

She said, “They are very interested in telling the same kinds of stories that I am, which is more emotional but less soapy. You still have to have things that hook you emotionally. People have to feel involved.”

When it comes to the way Nashville will be done, Callie Khouri thinks that the series is a perfect fit for CMT. They also want to give fans of Nashville a better look at how things work when you start trying to make it in the music industry. One spoiler for Nashville Season 5 is out, and she revealed what they plan to show fans this season.

“One thing I would like to deal with is the collapse of the music business and just how hard it is. This stuff is really hard. You can’t just put out a record and suddenly it’s No. 1 and all of a sudden they’re big stars. That’s not how it happens. So, I think we are going to deal more with the struggle of it. I think that’s a truer representation of what’s really going on. And I think the public should be aware of the fact that what’s common practice out in the universe paying for Spotify or Pandora is bankrupting the music industry.”

The writers for Nashville are actually based out of LA, so the show isn’t based on real stories that happened on Music Row, even though it may sound like it sometimes. The fifth season of Nashville is about to start production, so don’t expect it to start airing anytime soon.

Taste of Country shared that one thing about Nashville will be really different when it comes back. Will Chase and Aubrey Peeples are both not returning to Nashville next season. This means that the show will go on without Luke Wheeler and Layla Grant. This will be a big chance, but both of their characters on Nashville seemed like they were pretty much done, and their storylines had run their course. It will be different without them around, though.

Are you excited to see Nashville Season 5 when it starts airing on CMT? Do you feel like Nashville will fit as one of the channel’s new scripted shows? Sound off in the comments section below, and don’t miss Nashville when it airs on CMT. Hopefully, new episodes of Nashville will start later this year on CMT, but no exact date has been shared yet.
