‘Southern Charm’ News: Kathryn Dennis Moving On With Alleged Pill Pusher
Kathryn Dennis of Southern Charm has been dealing with a lot lately, and it sounds like she now has a new man in her life. The bad part is this guy doesn’t seem like he is going to be a great influence on her. All About the Tea shared the details all about Kathryn’s new man in her life that is known to be a pill pusher. Kathryn has been on again and off with again with Thomas Ravenel for a while, but it now looks like she has moved on.
A local source is sharing that Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis is now dating John (Johnny) Dowd, and it doesn’t sound like he is a southern gentleman. He is described as a Rod Stewart lookalike and at one time owned an antique shop. The Southern Charm star is now allegedly playing house with him.
The source went on to share that the fact Kathryn Dennis has found an older man and moved in with him is not shocking. The source revealed that Kathryn wants to find a man to take care of her. At one time, Johnny was married to Nikki Dowd, but his wife is now deceased. She passed away in 2013 after being hit by a train in an accident that was rumored to be suicide.
Since things didn’t work out with Thomas, Dennis has to find a different older man to take care of her financially.
The new man in Kathryn Dennis’ life is allegedly a pill pusher. This concerns a lot of people because Kathryn needs to stay away from drugs and not get involved with someone who will help her get them easily. Kathryn was dating Aaron Jones but allegedly dumped him to move in with Johnny. Jones does have some serious health issues, and word is this is part of why her relationship with him didn’t last. Fans never got to see Aaron Jones, who was Kathryn’s old flame, on Southern Charm before the split.
Right now, Kathryn Dennis is sharing joint custody of her two children with Thomas Ravenel. When Kathryn has the children, it needs to be supervised by her parents. This means that she won’t have them over hanging out with her new guy, but Kathryn could have him around the kids.
All About the Tea shared that Kathryn Dennis is dealing with a lot right now. Kathryn actually tested positive for cocaine and marijuana during court-ordered drug tests. Thomas Ravenel’s test results came back clean, and he didn’t have anything in his system at all. Thomas quit drinking six months ago and hasn’t been doing anything that could mess up his chance to spend times with kids. A source shared that Kathryn isn’t speaking to her lawyer at all right now.

Thomas went as far as to offer to pay for Kathryn to go to rehab if she wants to go. It doesn’t sound like she has any plans to take him up on the offer, though. She even accused Thomas of cheating the drug tests to make hers look positive when she didn’t really do anything wrong. This custody battle may be something that continues on for years because these two just can’t get along.
