‘Basketball Wives L.A.’ Season 5 2016 New Trailer: The Fighting Returns [Video]

Basketball Wives L.A. is coming back, and the new promo trailer, titled “Basketball Wives LA Season 5 Promo,” can be seen below. Of course, there is drama among the basketball wives, with Jackie Christie seen falling on the floor in a black and gold dress.

Whether fighting, drunkenness, or some other ailment brought Jackie down to the ground and then caused HER to run away from the Basketball Wives LA crew remains to be seen until the Basketball Wives LA super-trailer is released or until Season 5 of Basketball Wives LA is set in motion.

Fans won’t have to wait too long for the Season 5 premiere of Basketball Wives L.A., according to VH1.

Basketball Wives L.A. will return on Sunday, July 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Some familiar faces from previous seasons of Basketball Wives L.A. will return for the newest season. They will be joined by new Basketball Wives L.A. cast members.

Expect to see Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman, Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, and Angel Brinks returning to the newest season to reprise their reality TV show roles on Basketball Wives L.A. when the new season begins.

Tami made headlines for starring in Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars with her younger beau. Roman worked through issues of trust on the reality TV show.

As seen in the above video, Malaysia jokes about everyone bringing a friend to the Basketball Wives L.A. table, using the same cadence and rhythm that Oprah Winfrey used to announce all of her audience members were getting cars in a free giveaway.

Others joining the Basketball Wives L.A. Season 5 cast are LaTosha Duffey and Angel Love.

According to the Dallas Observer, Duffey is a DJ and a single mother who got divorced from a husband who wasn’t named in that piece. Baller Alert reports that Duffey was married to Brian Jackson, who was a cornerback for the NY Giants and also played for the St. Louis Rams. Whether Duffey has a relationship with a basketball player remains to be seen.

As reported by the International Business Times, Angel is a model — with Love not to be confused with the Angel Brinks who previously appeared on Basketball Wives L.A. Love can be seen in the below photo from her Instagram page, although it isn’t known if she dates or is married to a basketball player, which would explain her appearance on Basketball Wives L.A.

As can be seen in the top photo above, Brandi Maxiell and Malaysia Pargo attended an event by the Shade Room titled “Shades of Eden” at a private mansion on Saturday, June 4 in Los Angeles, California.

Brandi was famously told by former Basketball Wives L.A. star Draya Michele that her cancer storyline was too boring for the show. Now, Draya is back in the celebrity headlines for showing off her tiny waist only 10 weeks after she gave birth to her son, Jru, in April. As reported by the Daily Mail, Michele was seen in Culver City, California, recently, with the 31-year-old Basketball Wives L.A. former star showing off her “snapback” capabilities.

Expect the #BBWLA hashtag to begin trending on social media as soon as Basketball Wives L.A. premieres. Shaunie O’Neal is still listed as executive producer of Basketball Wives L.A.

Meanwhile, Shaq and Shaunie are making news, according to TMZ, for plans to star in their own reality TV show.
