‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Rumors: Entire Cast Getting Fired As VH1 Reality Show Searches For New Stars

Has the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta worn out their welcome? According to many recent reports, the LHHATL producers are fed up with some of the recent antics on the show and are currently looking to replace everyone on the VH1 reality show before the next season starts.

It’s no secret that some of the cast members have gone way over the top in order to create storylines for themselves. There are even issues with fake storylines during Season 5, and many fans of the reality show have grown weary of seeing the same cast recycle the same problems from season to season.

The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion show taping starts today and will carry over one more day. Tommie Lee won’t be at the taping and even started a rumor that she was banned from going. Mona Scott-Young quickly shot that claim down, and it turns out that Tommie’s reason for staying home actually stems from an order to remain in Atlanta because of her ongoing legal issues. Likewise, there are reports that Karen King and her son Sas won’t be seen on the LHHATL reunion show stage in New York City either.

That hasn’t stopped producers from looking for new cast members in Atlanta, according to BET. It is unclear who may be under consideration for a role in the upcoming season, but at this point, many fans feel like new blood is a good idea for the VH1 show.

There is just one issue with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and their search for new cast members, according to Hollywood Life. Those in the music business whose careers are not struggling really have no reason to join the show. The level of drama on any of the Love & Hip Hop series is incredibly high, and there is very little actual music being made.

If Mona Scott-Young and VH1 really do clean house and start over with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, it will be the first time in the history of the franchise that they just started over a whole city. However, even the LHHNY cast has been revamped since the premiere season and has none of the original cast members.

LHHATL still has four of the original main cast members throughout the past five seasons. Joseline Hernandez, Rasheeda Buckner, Mimi Faust, and Karlie Redd have been a part of the main cast during every season that Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has been on VH1. Stevie J has also been featured but didn’t actually get main cast status until Season 4. K. Michelle has always been around and even jumped over to New York and had her own spinoff, but she was only listed as a guest for Season 3 and Season 4.

In addition to the stagnant main cast, the VH1 reality show kept many of the same supporting cast for all five seasons as well. Lil Scrappy, Momma Dee, Ariane Davis, and Deb Antney have also all been around from the beginning and still make appearances on the show.

Very little has been done with the Atlanta cast to shake things up in the past. It probably had to do with the overwhelming popularity of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta on VH1. That reality show was even more popular than the original New York series and quickly became the most popular reality series on VH1. Now, as storylines are getting worn out, repeated, and even made up, fans are ready for something new.

Whether that is a whole new cast or a whole new city, Mona Scott-Young isn’t going to let the current antics of the Atlanta crew run people away from the show. In addition to rumors that LHHATL is looking to totally revamp their cast, there has always been news of spinoffs in at least two other cities.
