Meghan King Edmonds Says Vicki’s Apologies Seem Forced And Not Genuine

Meghan King Edmonds decided to come back to The Real Housewives of Orange County for a second season, even though she was attacked last season by Brooks Ayers. Meghan was determined to uncover the truth that Brooks was hiding. King Edmonds claimed that Brooks wasn’t being honest about his cancer or his treatment, and she knew quite a bit about cancer, because Jimmy’s ex-wife had passed away from the illness just last year. But Vicki Gunvalson kept defending him, and this season started with the ladies all seeking apologies from the veteran housewife.

According to a new Bravo report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that Vicki’s attempts at apologies are too fake for her. During the premiere episode, Gunvalson decided to pull Heather Dubrow aside, so she could issue an apology for what happened. She asked for forgiveness, but Heather wanted to know how much she knew about everything. And Meghan King Edmonds believes that the whole conversation was just fake.

“I felt so bad that Heather tried to host a nice, fun party for everyone and she got forced in to a conversation and “apology” from Vicki. Tamra said it best, “What ARE you sorry for?” The apologies seem forced and not genuine, don’t you think?” Meghan explains in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, hinting that

Kelly Dodd, the new housewife and friend of Meghan’s, decided to have lunch with Vicki, as she wanted to give her a chance. The two met up for lunch on last night’s episode and the two talked about the past — though not in great detail. King Edmonds thought that the lunch did seem a little fake, as she didn’t think that the ladies had much chemistry.

“I thought that watching the lunch with Kelly and Vicki also seemed forced. It just didn’t seem like they had much chemistry at all, at least that’s the way I saw it,” King Edmonds revealed after watching Vicki and Kelly’s lunch.

And things got even worse when Meghan King Edmonds invited the ladies over for her kitchen demolition, as Kelly revealed that she had gone out for lunch with Vicki. Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador seemed surprised, as they hadn’t talked to Vicki for a long time. And King Edmonds had really hoped that demolition day would be fun for them, but it turned into talks about divorce, sick husbands, and child custody issues.

“Demo day was so much fun! I thought it would be the perfect way to spend some time with the girls so they could get to know Kelly better. It didn’t exactly go as planned, but I tried!” Meghan explains of the situation.

But King Edmonds did see the positive in the episode. During their Valentine’s Day dinner, Shannon and David Beador laughed and exchanged gifts, and Meghan thought it was super sweet to see how far they have come after the cheating scandal that rocked their marriage. But King Edmonds reveals that she would have been more honest about not liking the gift.

“I have to give major props to Shannon for wearing that necklace even though she didn’t like it. If Jimmy gave me something I didn’t like, I’d have to be honest and would exchange it for something else. It’s so nice seeing how far their relationship has come over the last season, though!” Meghan King Edmonds explains of Beador’s marriage, revealing that she and Shannon have become close friends after the whole Gunvalson scandal with Brooks Ayers.
