Shannon Beador On ‘RHOC’ Feud With Vicki: ‘I Don’t Think About Her’

Shannon Beador decided to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County even though her co-star, Vicki Gunvalson, didn’t give her what she wanted last season. Shannon really wanted an apology and an explanation from Gunvalson, but she wasn’t ready to give it. Vicki did give a public apology to Entertainment Tonight, but Beador had hoped for a private explanation since they had been good friends. And this lack of action has caused Beador to move on completely from the friendship. In fact, she’s not even thinking about her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star these days.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that she carries no anger towards her former friend. During the Real Housewives of Orange County premiere episode, Gunvalson did hint that Shannon Beador was angry and hurtful, and she couldn’t understand how one person could be so hurtful and angry. As it turns out, Beador isn’t harboring any negative feelings.

“I’m not mean and angry. I have forgiven her. I’ve moved on. I don’t think about her,” Shannon recently revealed to E! News in an interview about her failed friendship, adding, “I don’t want a friendship with her. I’ve forgiven, but I don’t want to be her friend.”

During the season premiere, Vicki ignored Shannon Beador completely and ended up talking behind her back to Jeana Keough. But she did want to settle the drama with Heather Dubrow, who had invited her to her party. And Vicki recently opened up about her important mission to get forgiveness from her co-stars.

“I wanted to come on this season asking for forgiveness of really getting them involved in my personal life. I learned a lesson from that. I’m going to try to keep my new relationships off-camera and out of their lives,” Vicki has explained to The Daily Dish about getting her friends back, revealed, “So it was important for me to ask for forgiveness of them because I wanted them to realize that, you know what, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I never lied, but I’m sorry. And can we move on? And some of them are still stuck.”

Of course, many of Vicki’s co-stars, including Shannon Beador, really wanted an explanation. During last week’s episode, Heather revealed that she just wanted her co-star to admit to her guilt, say that she was in too deep to get out and that she wanted to get better – and Heather would forgive and forget. But Gunvalson doesn’t think that’s the right solution. She thinks that the ladies, including Shannon Beador, should just accept the past and forgive her situation.

“I learned a lot about myself and have finally realized that everything happens for a reason and much of it is a divine intervention. I’m finally at peace with it all, and this season you will see me trying to move on, after asking for forgiveness. Some are willing to do accept it and move on, and some aren’t which I’m actually okay with now. I’m not going to be stuck in the past anymore,” Vicki recently revealed in her Bravo blog, sharing that she’s hoping that Shannon can move past her anger and forgive her.

It is possible that Shannon Beador and her co-star won’t get a chance to talk about the past since Beador has shut the door. The season has just begun, but it sounds like they didn’t get to work out their issues since Shannon is currently saying that she has no plans of making peace with her co-star.

What do you think of Shannon Beador’s decision to cut off her co-star? Do you think she’s right in leaving this friendship behind?
