Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Take Love To New Level Just Like ‘British Romcom Dream’
Taylor Swift is moving swiftly when it comes to her new romance with Tom Hiddleston. Now the couple is taking their love to the next level with the all-important visit to get the approval of Tom’s mother, reported Us Weekly.
Swift joined Hiddleston and his mother, Diana in Ipswich, Suffolk. During the singer’s visit to her new boyfriend’s hometown, Taylor walked with her arms wrapped around both Diana and Tom.
“Taylor is so happy. She’s living a British romcom dream.”
During her visit to his home town, Taylor viewed a variety of highlights from her boyfriend’s past. At one point, they headed to a gas station to fuel up on caffeine.
After dining with Hiddleston’s mom, the lovebirds enjoyed a stroll on the beach. Swift also was expected to meet up with Tom’s brother over the weekend.
The actor went through the process of meeting Taylor’s parents prior to her visit to his mom. The couple took a trip to Nashville so he could get the approval of her family. In addition to getting acquainted with Swift’s parents, Hiddleston met with some of her friends.
Tom and Taylor dined with her pals Holly Williams and her husband at Adele’s. (Country music star Hank Williams Jr. is Holly’s father.) An observer of the dinner date described the new couple as locking lips and holding hands throughout the occasion, noting that Hiddleston and Swift didn’t hesitate to display their affection.
“Tom held the inside door open for Taylor and he put his arm around her waist as they walked up to the hostess station. They looked like they were having an amazing time. Taylor was laughing at Tom’s jokes.”
The romance between Hiddleston and Swift began when pictures circulated that showed them kissing in Rhode Island. The PDA photos appeared only two weeks after Taylor and Calvin Harris broke up.

During her visit to meet Tom’s mom, Taylor seemed to undergo a transformation when it came to her style, according to the Daily Mail, which described her as an “English country bumpkin.”
Taylor was garbed in a quilted jacket and cream-colored sweater, complemented with wellies. Her flowing locks were tied up in a bun, complemented by a turban-style headband. But Swift clung to a designer touch in the form of her Rebecca Minkoff “Mara” bag.
Swift and Hiddleston spent time with his family on the beach, enjoying the sea air as they walked along at Covehithe Beach in Suffolk. To make it easier to show off his favorite places, Tom rented a Jaguar and then took Taylor on a trip throughout Suffolk.
When Hiddleston was 13, James and Diana divorced. Since becoming an adult, the actor has regarded his mom’s house in Suffolk as a retreat.
“[It helps] to keep my head straight walking along the beach, throwing stones in the sea, and eating fish and chips,” explained Hiddleston.
As for how his romance with Swift began, they became famous as a couple when they were seen canoodling in Rhode Island. But Tom and Taylor were initially spotted together in a “dance-off” during the Met Gala, according to People.
When it comes to who made the first move, Hiddleston credits Swift.
“I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, ‘The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance’ and you’re making music,” recalled Tom. “She, as a musician, was like, ‘We’ve got to dance for The Weeknd,’ so we got up and danced.”
