Sonja Morgan Denies Anyone Tried To Get Bethenny Frankel Fired From ‘RHONY’

Are Bethenny Frankel’s co-stars trying to get her fired from The Real Housewives of New York City? According to Sonja Morgan, the answer is no. On Friday, Sonja posted a tweet that denied that anyone on the cast is trying to get Bethenny fired.

Sonja apparently considers Bethenny a real friend whom she wouldn’t throw under the bus in order to increase her own paycheck. Sonja wrote that real friends get through everything and that money comes and goes. She added that she doesn’t believe that anyone asked to have Bethenny fired. She made it clear that the rumor that she and the others want Bethenny fired is silly by ending her tweet with the hashtag “#stupid.”

Minutes prior, Sonja wrote that Bethenny is the last person on the cast she wants fired. Sonja described herself as a non-greedy person who doesn’t exclude anyone but rather films with all. She added that she likes filming with Bethenny.

On Wednesday, Life & Style reported that Bethenny Frankel’s co-stars have gone to Bravo executives with complaints about her in an attempt to get her fired from The Real Housewives of New York City. It quoted a source as saying that the show’s other stars have complained that Bethenny is aggressive and combative with an out-of-control ego.

“They say she’s become aggressive and combative, and her ego is out of control.”

The article named LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan as two cast members who feel particularly aggrieved by Bethenny. The source said that LuAnn “feels Bethenny slut-shamed her this season and is really upset” while Sonja has been battling Bethenny over the Tipsy Girl vs. SkinnyGirl alcohol line drama.

According to the source, not everyone is against Bethenny. The source said that Ramona Singer and Carole Radziwill are in Bethenny’s corner. The source further said that Bethenny isn’t worried about losing her Bravo paycheck.

“She thinks viewers love her. She’s not going anywhere.”

Sonja’s tweet that she likes filming with Bethenny may be surprising to some viewers since her interactions with Bethenny so far this season have been fraught, to say the least. In one scene, Bethenny lashed out at Sonja for creating and naming hew new alcohol line Tipsy Girl. Bethenny felt that it was a blatant copy of her own alcohol line, SkinnyGirl. In her office, in front of her employees, Bethenny ripped into Sonja for acting as if she didn’t know that the name wouldn’t be a problem. Bethenny further accused Sonja of starting yet another fake business with Tipsy Girl just for publicity and relevancy. Bethenny even said that she no longer wants anything to do with Sonja.

“I’m completely insulted and I don’t want anything to do with you…I think you’re a fraud…It’s all b******t.”

Sonja Morgan, in tears, said that she honestly didn’t know the name would be such a big problem. She also said that she just wants to have a successful business of her own in order to get back to where she used to be.

“I don’t know why you’re being so aggressive. I would think you would be more sympathetic. I just came out of a chapter 11. I had to pay a huge amount of money. Right now the aftermath of that chapter 11 is really hitting me. I’m just really trying to get back to where I was. And I thought the alcohol was a great idea. I really looked up to what you did and I thought it would be a great way for me to get ahead…I wasn’t thinking anything big like you’re doing.”

As for LuAnn, Bethenny has lashed out at her for being a hypocritical and judgmental women with no self-awareness. In Dorinda Medley’s Berkshires home, Bethenny accused LuAnn of repeatedly going after other women’s men.

“The problem with you is that women don’t trust you. And they think you have sex with married men. And you cheat. And you f**k younger guys. And you criticize other people about the same thing that you do. And that you act holier than thou. And that you wrote a book on etiquette, which is the most comical thing…that’s what a lot of people think…It’s a reputation that you have.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, in a blog post about the Berkshires trip, LuAnn de Lesseps called Bethenny Frankel’s comments about her “slanderous.” LuAnn also called Bethenny hypocritical, pointing out that she herself is dating a married man.
