Future Releases O.J. Simpson-Themed ‘Juice’ Track, Appears To Threaten Russell Wilson

Future released new music recently which wouldn’t be incredibly newsworthy, except that his newest song seems to be taking shots — and possibly even making threats — at his baby mama Ciara’s new man, Russell Wilson. Future released the new track “Juice” on Friday and the O.J. Simpson-inspired song is definitely turning some heads. Does Wilson need to worry about his safety after looking at the “Juice” lyrics or can the whole thing be chalked up to artistic expression?

“Juice” is track five on Esco’s new mixtape titled E.T. Future sings the hook on the song, whose name is in reference to O.J. Simpson’s nickname. While it’s unclear if Future is alluding to the accusations against the former NFL great that he murdered his ex-wife. One of the lines in the song can only be aimed at Russell Wilson, who is currently engaged to Future’s ex-fiance, Ciara. Check out the lyrics below.

It’s personal, free ’em now
Murder trials, OJ Simpson
White on white, OJ Simpson
Double murder, OJ Simpson
Oh that’s your girl? You know I hit her
Pity [expletive], she through with them
Tryna f— my baby mama, dog what’s up with you?
You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you

Sporting News quickly mentioned that Future built the lyrics of his new song “Juice” around O.J. Simpson and the double murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, who happened to be with her that night.

It’s no secret that Future is really salty about Ciara’s engagement to Russell Wilson. The rapper has taken several opportunities to take shots at Ciara and Russell Wilson repeatedly since the pair started dating. It seems like the more serious that Ciara gets with her man, the more upset that Future gets about it. The drama between Future and Ciara has escalated so far that she even slapped her baby daddy with a lawsuit earlier in the year.

Ciara and Russell Wilson quietly began dating at the beginning of 2015. After Wilson took Ciara with him to meet President Obama after the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl, rumors about their romance reached their heights. The sweet couple announced later in the year that they were, in fact, dating, but Russell Willson dropped a shocker when he claimed that he and Ciara were not having sex until they got married.

In March of this year, Ciara and Russell Wilson announced their engagement, further angering Future. If he was angry at the thought of Wilson dating his former flame, the thought of the two getting married must have been pretty upsetting. Now the man Future hates most will not only be spending more time with his own son than he does, but he’ll also be his stepfather.

Even with a child support and custody agreement in place, it doesn’t look like Future will be able to peacefully co-parent with Ciara and Russell Wilson because of his hatred of both of them. That may be why Ciara asked a judge to grant her full custody earlier in the year. Future ended up winning out in that court battle when a judge ruled that the two would continue to split custody.

When Ciara dropped a $15 million defamation lawsuit against Future at the beginning of the year, he responded with a countersuit that claimed she was keeping him from his son. Future has since dropped his lawsuit after he started seeing his son, Future Zahir, more often due to a judge’s order.

Future’s latest diss to Russell Wilson only continues to stoke the feud between the two men. Well, really it seems pretty one-sided since Wilson has never really reacted or even commented on the issues that Future has with him.
