Beyonce And Jay Z Not ‘Exposed’ In Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ Video

Kanye West is famous – and infamous – for his often offensive stunts, and his new “Famous” video that puts some “shocking” visuals to the earlier release of the song is no exception. West doesn’t seem to care how many people he irritates, and he even seems to enjoy stirring up bad feelings.

Variety reports that the “nude celebrities” lined up in the enormous bed included a few who might have considered themselves important enough to be safe from Kanye’s famous attacks. George Bush, Bill Cosby and Caitlyn Jenner all appeared in “Famous,” along with Rihanna, Donald Trump, and Anna Wintour, the inspiration for Meryl Streep’s Oscar winning character in The Devil Wears Prada.

It’s not often that Kanye lets caution guide his decisions, but it looks like at least one star couple were too powerful for Kanye to feel comfortable making enemies with. Beyonce and Jay Z were absent from the array of naked bodies Kanye made famous in the new video.

That turns out to be a good thing for West, since both Jay Z and Beyonce wouldn’t hesitate to make life uncomfortable and “extremely difficult” for their friend if he betrayed them. A source told Hollywood Life that Jay Z would have “blown a gasket” if Kanye had included the two in his “little picture circus.” The source said that “Kanye knew better” than to expose Jay Z and Bey amongst the naked celebrities in “Famous.”

“No disrespect, but together, HOV and Bey are more famous and prestigious than everyone in the video combined.”

Although Z and Bey know they were safe, they are still “relieved” and “thanking their lucky stars they weren’t lying naked and exposed” for all the world to see. Some of their peers weren’t so lucky.

Taylor Swift’s Kanye West and Kim Kardashian influence isn’t nearly as powerful as the weapons Jay Z and Beyonce can wield over their famous friends, The “Bad Blood” singer knows a thing or two about dissing famous people through the medium of a song, and as far as Kanye is concerned, Swift deserved what she got in “Famous.” Whether Taylor deserved it or not, there’s probably nothing she can do about it, unless she retaliates with a song of her own. The Business Standard reported that Kanye is begging offended stars to “sue me already,” but according to Hollywood Life, Taylor doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on.

“If Taylor decided to take Kanye to court for [it], she might receive minimal damages. So it wouldn’t really be worth it for Tay to sue him, since she wouldn’t get much out of it.”

Some fans suggested that stars might even want to be shown in bed with Kanye as a way to boost their careers and fame.

Others point out that as a piece of pop culture art, there is a lot more to “Famous” than “celebrities in bed.” Everyone in the video has been tagged in a “big scandal” and were deliberately placed there. One fan tweeted, “You made your bed, now lie on it” as an interpretation of the music video.

In the meantime, Beyonce and Jay Z are glad to have been left off the bed full of wax figures, and hope that West continues to remember just how famous and important they are.

The couple have only just recovered from the Lemonade“hoopla,” when fans everywhere thought it looked like the end of the road for the couple. Beyonce and Jay recently soothed fears with a lemon-encrusted romantic beach getaway and lots of pics showing the two of them looking “completely head-over-heels for each other.”

Now that their relationship seems to be healed and back on an even keel, Beyonce and Jay Z don’t need fallout from a Kanye-induced scandal. Ten naked bodies in a bed with Kanye and Kim are more than enough.
