Audrina Patridge Welcomes Baby Girl With Fiancé Corey Bohan
Audrina Patridge is a mama. The 31-year-old former The Hills star and Dancing With the Stars alum gave birth to her first child on Friday, June 24, according to People. Patridge and her fiancé Corey Bohan welcomed a daughter, Kirra Max Bohan. The baby weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz., and Audrina’s rep told the magazine that the baby is “perfectly healthy and Mom is doing great.”
Audrina Patridge and Australian BMX rider Corey Bohan have been dating and off for seven years. Their first date was even shown on MTV’s The Hills and they became engaged last fall. The reality star announced her pregnancy to fans in December when she posted a cute Instagram photo of herself holding a positive Clearblue pregnancy test as a Christmas gift for Corey.
Audrina later told Us Weekly that while the pregnancy wasn’t planned, she felt ready for it. Patridge dished that she took the pregnancy test while at her parents’ house in Los Angeles, and that she had Bohan do a double take to make sure she wasn’t seeing things when the test came up positive.
“I feel at this point in my life I am ready to be a mama!” Audrina told Us at the time.
Audrina revealed that, early on when she was trying to keep her pregnancy a secret, she attempted to fake friends out by explaining she was on a detox cleanse to cover her lack of alcohol consumption at parties. But once the cat was out of the bag, Audrina Patridge kept friends and fans updated on her pregnancy via her blog The Inside Out.
While Audrina was initially unsure if she and Corey would find out the sex of their child before she gave birth (Corey’s mom wanted it to be a surprise), the mom-to-be eventually broke down. In March, Patridge revealed the gender of baby Bohan.
“You guys have no idea how hard this has been to keep my mouth shut, but we are finally ready to reveal the gender of our little munchkin!” Patridge wrote. “Don’t worry, I’ll get right to the point…We are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming a sweet little GIRL into our family in July!”
Audrina also revealed that she and Corey were open to name suggestions for their baby girl.
Last month, Audrina Patridge posted pics from her baby shower hosted by her Aunt Connie. Patridge’s shower was a vintage mermaid theme and it featured adorable pink frosted cookies and a rose-covered cake had “baby girl” written across the front of it.
One week before baby Kirra was born, Audrina posted a final pregnancy pic on Instagram, writing that it will “be weird not having a belly soon or feeling little kicks punches and hiccups all the time.”
“I’m so used to it now and am loving it,” Audrina added. “I’ve had a pretty good pregnancy so I’m very thankful for that and also for good genes…. Just gotta get her to flip!”
As for what’s next for this family of three, Audrina previously revealed that her wedding would happen soon after her baby’s arrival.
“We are doing it backwards, I know!” Patridge wrote on her blog. “But, God’s timing is everything, and I am confident that this is the way things are supposed to be. Plus, I have a feeling our wedding photos will be extra adorable with our little baby in our arms instead of in my tummy!”
A “small and intimate” destination wedding could be in the works soon, so stay tuned!
