Calvin Harris Strips Down In A Speedo In Time For His New Single ‘Hype’

Calvin Harris has decided to show off his revenge body since his split from Taylor Swift. The Scottish DJ seems super focused on his physique, and his work, and now one of his friends has showed off his results a new Instagram photo.

Harris’ friend, Emil Nava, shared a photo of Harris and their guy friends casually standing around in their Speedos. It looks like the guys were hanging out on a recent guy’s trip. But Nava was the one who directed Harris’ music video for his single “This Is What You Came For,” featuring Rihanna, which he dropped last Friday. It’s likely that you will see more of Harris and his Speedo in an upcoming music video.

Some are wondering if Calvin’s latest photo could be his response to Taylor Swift’s new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston’s, underwear photos for W magazine. However, Calvin is no stranger to sharing shirtless selfies. The former Armani underwear model stripped down to some steamy photos in an ad campaign last year.

The 32-year-old DJ last made headlines when he addressed his split with Swift within the comments section of Instagram, which have now been deleted. Fans didn’t take long to screen grab Harris’ comments and share them on social media. Then, Harris decide to re-follow Taylor Swift and her brother, Austin, after he un-followed the pop star last week and deleted all of the images of the two together on Instagram. He also reportedly decided to re-follow his other famous ex-girlfriend, Rita Ora, on Thursday, June 23, and she re-followed him back.

Calvin has been turning Instagram upside down lately amid the release of his and Dizzee Rascal’s new single “Hype,” released on Friday, June 24. It looks like Calvin is creating some hype of his own with both his questionable social media behavior and his new music. The producer has been teasing his song all week on Instagram and Twitter.

Earlier this week, Calvin Harris teased his fans about a new single coming out, which would include his friend and former collaborator. On late Thursday night/early Friday morning, Calvin and the U.K. producer dropped the hot new dance single.

“Hype” features the British artist rapping about how he wants to get the whole place hyped, with his voice layered over a Calvin Harris-produced dance track. Unfortunately, the song is not about Swift. The song stays true to its title by getting you hyped up at a house party or at the nightclub this weekend.

The two previously collaborated on Dizzee Rascal’s 2008 track “Dance Wiv Me” and “Here 2 China,” off of Harris’ 2012 release, 18 Months. Check out both of their songs in the videos below.

Calvin’s last release was Motion, which came out in 2014. It’s unsure if “Hype” will be featured on his upcoming album. So far, he’s released his Disciples collab “How Deep Is Your Love” and “This Is What You Came For,” featuring Rihanna. The latter currently sits at No. 6 on the Hot 100, according to Billboard.

Earlier this year, Rascal performed tracks off his 2003 release, Boy In Da Corner, at a show in New York City hosted by the Red Bull Music Academy.

“Hype” did not come with an elaborate marketing campaign on Harris’ part. Before his split with Swift, she proudly promoted his single “This Is What You Came For” at Coachella. But, it looks like Harris doesn’t need to promote this new song since he’s one of the highest-paid DJs in the U.S., and he’s been making headlines for his social media behavior.
