Erika Girardi AKA Erika Jayne On Yolanda Foster’s ‘RHOBH’ Exit And Her On Future On Show

Is Erika Girardi, also known by her performer name Erika Jayne, returning for another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Will viewers see her again on another season despite the departure of her good friend Yolanda Foster?

During an interview with Access Hollywood posted on Thursday, Erika talked about her future on the show and Yolanda’s decision to leave after four seasons.

When the interviewer pointed out that Erika has finished her first season on the show and asked if she’s ready for more, Erika played coy about whether viewers will see her again.

“Who said I was coming back?”

When the interviewer then asked Erika if she is coming back, Erika again played coy. However, judging by her laughter and the fact that she made a very memorable impression with viewers during her first season, the answer seems to be yes. Erika just can’t confirm it yet.

“Oh I can’t say [smiles and laughs]. I know nothing.”

If Erika does return, viewers may see her listening more and talking less. She said that the biggest lesson she learned from her first season was to listen more.

“Listen. To listen. For sure.”

As for Yolanda Foster’s decision to leave the show, Erika Girardi said that she’s sad to be losing Yolanda but pointed out that it’s her decision to make. Erika also added that she and Yolanda have and will remain friends.

“Well I mean, it’s terrible but she has to do what’s right for her. And she’s getting stronger every day and we wish her well in her journey and that doesn’t stop my friendship with her. I was just on the phone with her like two days ago anyways so nothing changes except she’s not on camera.”

About a week ago, Yolanda, who has reverted back to her previous last name, Hadid, after the end of her marriage to David Foster, announced that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda wrote that she’s now focusing on her recovery, her family, and gaining back her privacy. She added that she’s grateful for the experience and her fans’ support over the past four years.

Did Yolanda choose to leave, or was she fired? Yolanda notably began her Instagram post by stating that she would have loved a more “graceful” exit than Season 6 but that she realizes people can’t always control the endings of the chapters in their life. Yet, towards the end of the post, Yolanda pointedly wrote that’s she’s excited about this “CHOICE.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Andy Cohen, who is executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise, immediately tweeted to Yolanda that he loves her. Yolanda’s former co-star, Kyle Richards, also posted a loving message for Yolanda after her confirmation that she was leaving the show.

Erika Jayne joined the show last season as Yolanda’s friend. Erika’s first scene showed her accompanying Yolanda to one of her treatment appointments for Lyme disease. Erika and her husband, attorney Tom Girardi, were then shown visiting Yolanda and David at their home. When Erika met the other housewives, she explained that she and Yolanda became friends through their husbands.

Throughout the season, Erika supported and defended Yolanda as her Lyme disease came under scrutiny. Lisa Rinna in particular called into question Yolanda’s illness. In one episode, Lisa R. even said that she was “infuriated” that Yolanda didn’t attend Erika’s first dinner for the group. Lisa R. pointed out that Yolanda went to lunch with former co-stars Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards earlier in the day. Lisa R. thought that Yolanda was using her illness to excuse herself from certain situations. Erika, however, refused to question Yolanda.

Erika Girardi’s support for Yolanda Foster continued at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 reunion show. When Yolanda walked off the set and into her dressing room crying after Lisa Rinna accused Lisa Vanderpump of saying that Yolanda was their storyline this season, Erika followed Yolanda and comforted her.
