‘The Originals’ Season 4: ‘Containment’ Star Lands Role On ‘TVD’ Spin-Off
The Originals is getting at least one new cast member. Coming from another one of Julie Plec’s TV shows, expect to see Containment actress Christina Moses in Season 4 of The Originals. Keep reading to find out all the details.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Containment star Kristen Gutoskie is headed to The Vampire Diaries. Now, another actress from the viral outbreak limited series from Julie Plec is going to another show on The CW network. The actress is Christina Moses, the woman who portrayed Jana Mayfield.
Not much is known about Christina’s role in The Originals, but there are some clues, which were provided by Deadline.

“[Christina] Moses has joined Season 4 of [the] drama The Originals as Keelin, a smart, strong resourceful ER doctor – and the last living werewolf of her line,” Deadline wrote. “Keelin is openly bisexual, warm, and unguarded by nature; but after the rest of her family was hunted to extinction, she went into hiding and since then she’s deliberately avoided getting too close to anyone. She lives in fear of being discovered by the wrong people and has no idea that she’s currently on a collision course with the Mikaelsons.”
Considering that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is a werewolf hybrid, on the run with baby Hope, and is looking for a cure, it seems logical to assume that Keelin may hold the key to what Hayley is searching for. However, will she be willing to help or will her past get in the way of her wanting anything to do with the Mikaelson family?
As for Kristen Gutoskie going to The Vampire Diaries, the actress will play Seline. Check out the following character synopsis.

“Seline is described as a warm, nurturing nanny of two young kids by day and a small-town girl trying to find her place in a dangerous world by night,” Dread Central revealed regarding Kristen Gutoskie’s character in The Vampire Diaries. “Bonded to her new ‘family’ in ways she can’t explain, Seline will fight desperately to protect the ones she loves.”
It definitely sounds like Seline will be looking after the Gemini twins, the two supernatural daughters of Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline (Candice King). With Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Micahel Malarkey) affected by the mystery creature, the vampires are on a killing spree. Caroline and Alaric will team up with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) to locate Damon and Enzo. That will take time, effort, and resources, not to mention the danger it puts them in. Someone will need to look after the Gemini twins and it has to be someone who will do anything to keep them safe.
No other information about Kristen Gutoskie or Christina Moses’ roles were revealed. It is also not clear if other Containment stars will be headed to other shows at The CW network or not. However, anything is possible, especially with The Vampire Diaries having such a small cast right now. New characters need to be added, even if Season 8 of TVD might be the last, which has not been confirmed yet.
